I used several 1200s for advertising in pubs. with Scala software genlocked over my own video of the venue. I still have a couple along with Genius graphic tablet, vidi amiga capture cards, midi interface and accelerators. I too have fitted a cf card in one, a great upgrade. I wonder how much it would fetch on ebay ❤

My wife rolls her eyes when I play the Commodore music (are you keeping up with the Commodore). And I do it often. Great vlogs on the Commodore machines. My first computer was the Sinclair Spectrum 48K, after that one the Commodore 64C, followed by the Atari ST and then teh Commodore Amiga 500. I sold them all except for the Sinclair. In 2009 I started buying them back. I am proud to mention I now own many amigas (500, 500+, 600, 1200) with the monitors and peripherals. I also have three Atari STs. Still have my original Spectrum 48K. They all work fine. The only computer I miss is the C64. Keep up with the Commodore Cave! Luka

I only ever saw the Amiga Magic Pac 1200 in a upstairs shop at Croydon. I have only ever seen an A1200 second had in the CashConvertors in 1994. I found A600 thrown out on the lawn during rubbish collection.

Very interesting! One experiment you could try with the non-Commodore Amiga 1200 is see if a copy protected game will load as I've heard it has to be AmigaDOS due to the drive being from a PC.

i gave the panosonic ju-257a516p that is broken now i need new heads from a donor drive . it only ever had copied disks in it every game i ever had was a copy . it never failed me .
