Err.. The Social Engineering seems to skip the pattern loop function E62 on channel 3. The track is not played right :/ .. This ProTracker bug could come from previous song, which used E60 functions on and remain in the memory.. To fix it, either restart PT or insert E60 function on top of channel 3.. Thanks for the upload anyway

Damn it, I did have issues with this one, was having some weird pattern skips before recording it where it was in a constant loop and also sample weirdness, very strange and yeah I had to restart PT to get around that but it still hasn't cleaned out the memory, maybe I should have restarted the Amiga as well. The tune I recorded directly before yours was Vedder - Revisioned & Confused. Thought there was something different compared to playing it in clone but didn't pickup on it properly :( I remember thinking that I thought your tune was longer but maybe I was over thinking it. Should have followed my gut and properly checked it against Clone or something. I'm sorry that your tune didn't get properly represented. I just checked it again on Amiga now in 2.3F and yeah it's working as it should now, adds an extra 50sec to your tune. Thanks for the bug info, had no idea about that, will need to keep an eye on that in future.

@@off1k No worries. I need to remember in next jumpy track to "reset" the loop start at 00 to be compatible with all trackers and their versions.. 😁

@@teroristi What I can tell you is that it does work without reset on PT2.3D, 2.3F, 3.15 and 3.61/62 on real Amiga 500+ with ACA500plus using WB3.1 and A1200 with KS and WB 3.2 :) What's funny though is the E62 command partially works in Song POS 11,12 and 14 at step 31. I've updated the video description with this info and added a link to your channel as well.

There's something about that Revisioned and Confused track that's tickling my nostalgia bone like crazy. I'm not a musical guy, so I can't place my finger on it, but it reminds me of a sinister soundtrack from the Commodore 64. Those fast high notes. I'm addicted and need more like this.

So youre more into the chip tune synth style, I dont upload too many unfortunately, theres a few here and there amongst the random compilations. It's A Holiday reminds me of Sonic music. xD I can picture it in a winter themed zone. If I was decent at making music, I'd make a Genesis remix of it and add it to a Sonic hack. I also really enjoy Sushi Ska, and Aftertime. There are some good tracks here!

when booting up protracker 2.3f on winuae how do you add modules to the "st-01:modules" path?

I'm assuming you have the Amiga OS installed or at least using a pre-configured hdf file for WinUAE. In Protracker 2.3f, click 'SETUP' button, then click '2' button in top right hand corner. In middle of this section you can setup your default directories for mods/songs/sampl. Make sure back on the first page you save your config, default config will be 00, you can change this to 01,02 and so on. Now go to DISK OP. and your default path should be there, if you want to change that you can click the solid circle next to PATH: and cycle through other partitions or assigned directories. Now click 'LOAD MODULE" at top. Also in SETUP page 1 make sure 'AUTODIR' is on and MOD. ONLY is off. Hope this helps.

it says "cant find dir." i put the module in df2 @@off1k and im still new to amiga emulation so i dont know what the hell you said at the first sentence

@@Newtined My first sentence was assuming you have the Amiga Operating System installed in WinUAE, same as saying if you have Windows installed on your PC. hdf files are like pre-configured hard drives for Amiga, in WinUAE properties there's a section for CD & Hard drives and you can add hdfs there. I'm now going to assume you're running the ADF version of Protracker 2.3f. How are you running Protracker 2.3f in WinUAE?? and do you have all the Kickstart roms required for WinUAE as well as all the floppy drives enabled plus create a blank ADF? Keep in mind I'm using a very old version of WinUAE (2.6) and don't know what changes have been made with latest version which I'm assume you're using. 1 thing in Protracker setup (page 2) I did forget to tell you is to clear PTDIR: but if you have df0, df1 and df2 all activated then the 'solid circle' next to PATH: in DISK OP. should cycle through all disk drives df0 to df2. EDIT - Also, if you saved your protracker config to 01 or something, then you will need to load that actual config as Protracker will always load 00 first from bootup. EDIT 2 - if you set your default "mods" path to df2, you did type that as DF2: right?? and not DF2

so i am running the adf of protracker 2.3f and i did write "DF2:" rather than "DF2." i do have all the kickstarts and roms i got from amiga forever. im gonna try making a blank adf but idk how that will help. btw why are you using winuae 2.6?@@off1k edit: still says "cant read dir."

No reason, just haven't bothered updating and my last 8 uploads are all real hardware anyway, plus I have many custom configs and might have to fiddle with those as there maybe major changes since 2.6. Are you using "Quickstart" or "Configurations" in WinUAE? DF2 is activated in WinUAE? You tried using the 'solid circle' button next to PATH: in DISK OP. in Protracker? Where are the mods you want to load? are they on ADFs? or are you trying to load them from your PC drives? I've never used Amiga Forever but isn't that a pre-configured hard drive installation for Amiga using WinUAE as it's emulation tool. If so, then you're better off downloading the non-ADF version of Protracker 2.3f and just copying that in Amiga Forever. You can ADD PC drives at startup in WinUAE CD & Hard drives settings, it's a Tickbox setting. You can also try Bloodwych's ClassicWB, it's pre-configured hard drives for WinUAE or real Amiga but it hasn't been updated since 2015 I think but should still work. classicwb.abime.net/ Make sure you read the introduction and tutorials as there's 8 different setups to choose from. I use the ADVSP version for one of my real Amiga's and for some of my WinUAE configs.
