I lost a friend back on the 4th. He was a pretty severe alcoholic. He tried to cold turkey hard liquor, and ended in the ICU for a month before the withdrawal took him. You’ll be missed Rob.

here in Maine we raise mice that are used in California for addiction research. They cut the tops of their skulls off and install little brain readers on the mice. They put 3 drops of Vodka directly onto the brains if the mice every day. After 3 generations the mice are born addicted to alcohol, though they've never had a drop. It's a cycle that can be broken, but only through generational abstinence. Encourage your children to avoid drinking; 1 drink is too many and 100 is not enough.

I remember as a kid seeing my mom drunk all the time I'd think that I'd never drink but nowadays it's one of the only things that makes me forget how empty i feel inside

i love and hate the pure irony, of loving this song. i am an Alcholic, i would never deny it, and bring forced to be sober was hell. here i am listening while drowning for the few days i get to. a slave truly. but oh well ( if this offends or makes anyone uncomfy, my apologies just move on, )
