When Danny told this story, it brought me back to when i was trying to get clean off of heroin. The period before i quit was the loneliest point in my life. It reminded me of why i connect with his music so much..he knows the shit side of life like me but can write so beautifully about it.

Just saw him perform this song tonight. I started to cry in the middle of emos thinking of my friend who passed from his drug addiction
