Hi .. you can tighten a ch2 start, you just have to do the slip knot so the tail pulls tight. I think it's always better to have the tail pulling the slip knot tight

i finally managed to crochet using chenille yarn with ch2 method bcs magic ring cause it to break when i m pulling it
