That much coffee would put me to sleep. I have come up with away around the 10 sc in a magic ring, do 5 in magic ring then double & back to row 2. I have the first book you showed. I now have 6 books (well 5 as the 6th belongs to my great niece) most came from crochet kits. the precious moments doll pattern book, uses increments of 10 as well. I rarely follow a pattern, I always change something about it. the horse you did from zoomigurumi is beautiful!

I agree that changing the pattern is an option but I'm very unforgiving once I've decided against something!! 😉😜🤣

I have the one book you are talking about and have made one thing from it and ended up not doing the chain one up stitch either. While I was making it I felt the legs a bit short and that the arms should be shorter then too ... loved seeing your books 💖
