Saw the short preview on Instagram and I just had to look up this interview and I'm glad I did. I felt it when he mentioned the lights being shut. I used to go threw that and at times had no food in the fridge. So it was very hard and hurtful back then to scramble up some change just to go buy a bag of chips and a soda for dinner. I'm grateful for the struggle because it taught me how to stay strong and and hustle. It doesn't matter if you go to sell all of your recyclables just to pay the light bill. Because a hustle is a hustle and it's either in you or it's not 🙏🏽

I can still remember the first time I listened to that album, I had to replay each song multiple times because they were so good... after that, the legendary PT series, all those mixtapes coming... I remember the year he dropped a tape every month, when it was December, I was like no way this nigga will do it... and the next day I woke up to 12/30 already dropped... crazy shit. Things only lifers understand. One day I will fly to NO (coming from Europe) and I will thank him for all these years and memories.

i think a lot of rappers are starting to finally realize its a better investment, "although risky" to build up your hometown then going to hollywood. outside of hiphop prince is one of the most legendary artist who never left his home state in minnesota. in curren$y position its a little more risky in hiohop, but he probably knows where to go and not to go, and when to dip in and dip out. as much as its good to help your people there are still a lot of snakes in the innercity who envy you who want to take you down.
