Sponsored pod, big time ! I think Friga's ability to compete and create is on another level that maybe not everyone grasps - he's played all over the country/world in multiple settings, I get it's under his terms to some extent, but it's because he's earned that right tbh. He himself has helped create the crossover of basketball content and youtube competition over multiple years if that makes sense. All guys are top 5 tho fosho, keep posting these convos fellas !

Friga at 4 is crazy. People gotta watch his videos after he graduated Mount Union. He been in the trenches, sometimes it just be him hooping by himself picking up randoms. Do some research
@Danyol234 ай бұрын
The list makes sense and I agree he's being a bit harsh on Friga about everything being on his terms. First time they played was in Tampa against Wild Hunt and it was BO3 to 5 all 1's which doesn't benefit Friga at all and if I remember right they played to 5 because Nas had to leave early and that's why he didn't play in the 5s. Also what Nas is talking about when he talks about Dev is that Dev is putting himself in the conversation without backing it up. He likes to say he thinks he can beat Nas and a lot of the top guys but will come back and say "You should beat me, i'm a old man". He doesn't stand on what he says
@Danyol234 ай бұрын
Also i've been saying this but Friga's inactivity is counted against him. Kam talking about how he beat Friga 2 years ago, he has a L to Fomby from years ago that they've never run back. But they're counting these L's like they were playing for something when in reality they were just casual games and Friga literally had to talk Fomby into the game because he was whooping him so bad. I will say that I don't think Friga is better than Nas. Friga is too set in his ways where he isn't ready to do anything to win. I see it playing out like when he played MK and let himself get bullied out of the game instead of matching the energy. Friga should never be losing to guys like Qel, Moon and Nate because of his size advantage and yet he settles a bit to make it a fair game.

@@Danyol23 My guy, if you watched Friga that year (especially the side channel) youd know that Friga was playing by those rules before they even met up with Wild Hunt. Bro just made up stuff on the spot. He didnt watch any of the stuff Friga ran, where they were doing all 1s to 5 Bo3 ALL YEAR. I'm so over the trenches talk. Just because you play in the trenches don't make you better. It's just a different environment, some people thrive in that environment and some people don't. We've seen people who play in trenches and thrive and then when they play in organized settings they don't perform that well. It goes both ways, I personally am not a fan of the trenches too many people on the court just getting in the way and sometimes it just turns into a hack fest. I'm cool with the heckling and the atmosphere tho.
@CR250rSMITH4 ай бұрын

Nas isn’t presenting it well, but I think he’s got a point. Being able to be dominant in different environments means your skill and game transcend environment which is difficult to do in any facet of life. Are you mentally strong enough to adjust your game and be uncomfortable which in itself is a skill that separates people There are NBA players that are absolute buckets in practice but can’t perform in an NBA game which is why they ride the bench. It doesn’t matter where you play the only thing is do you win. Dev beat Friga who’s in your top 5. Friga lost to quite a few people that you would probably feel that he shouldn’t have lost to that wouldn’t beat Dev. Who made the criteria that you can’t critique someone’s game whether you’re still playing or not. He’d cook a lot of y’all even now.

Nas is starting to lose basketball cred in how hes talking. Please understand what you're talking about in regards to the trentches, comp and being active. If we going off straight talent BJ and Bruce have a real argument to be top 5

My argument with this conversation is that Nas cares so much about setting. Who cares about setting. Being active means playing regardless of the setting. Especially trying to be in a setting where it basis towards the opponent is so dumb. You play to play and learn from different experiences with the person you’re playing, not the environment. The setting DOES NOT MATTER
@danny_daphantom4 ай бұрын
Nah it does matter sometimes. That’s a thing even in the league. Dev only want to challenge people in his gym with his rules and his custom made basketball bro. Nas done went to in the lab. You can’t be saying you the best and only wanting to play in your gym when all these guys done went to his gym and travel anywhere to hoop. Like people was come at nesco at first because they thought he was only good on his home court and then he started going to different places and beating dudes.
@Husslenot12014 ай бұрын
@@danny_daphantom I feel you. It does have its pros and cons. That ball dev uses is an NBA basketball. The grip gets better the more sweat gets on it.

@@Patrick-kw5zv wdym nas has done way more on yt than just the big 3. And the trenches argument is valid because it's way different when the crowd is against you unlike tnc where they protect their own players

He contradicted himself. One of his stipulations for being top 5 ,is activity. Rob wouldn’t necessarily fit because there are lots of other ballers that are more active and even dominating. Nas has a slight bias for sure and he really doesn’t have a clear rhyme or reason. Just a little too subjective for me.

Scar (2times), Friga, Moon, DeeBones, HeziGod (2 or 3 times), Cat from freesmoke (7-0), Smoove Joe (7-0), Sihimba, Brion, A Milly, Slim, Zeke from freesmoke, New, Fomby, and some d1-d2 people who’s names I don’t wanna say to not cause confusion.
