I've watched an episode of the show and all the sketches are like this. They take a fairly amusing idea with comedic potential and run the joke into the ground by making a sketch that goes on far too long with no real payoff.

@@dietweed69 you're both confusing Amish with Mennonite. Amish are strict to their roots and values whereas Mennonite are essentially the same but much more laid back when it comes to things like power tools and will occasionally drive themselves but almost always in either a white or black van. I live in Pennsylvania, arguably the Amish capital of the world. I have more neighbors that are Amish than i do that aren't and have talked and even worked with them numerous times. They're chill as fuck.

I saw an interview with a highly successful 22-year-old ex-Amish IT professional. He had not worked or even touched a computer until he turned 18. I feel like either they should have ended the skit with the reveal the IT guy was Amish or have some kind of twist where he managed to actually fix the computer. The sketch both went on too long and had no satisfying conclusion.

Steve Danger okay, here is a punchline idea..... at the end we cut to an amish barn where an IT guy in a shirt and tie is trying to repair a butter-churner by jamming cables into it. A crowd of Amish people is gathered around him groaning and getting really frustrated. Finally, the IT guy sighs and says "I told them it was a bad idea for an aviation company to merge with the Pennsylvania Dutch." Not great perhaps, but at least I'm pitching.
