Amish made belts vs nicks boots belt vs north star leather belt | comparison & 1st impression

in this video I am taking a look at an Amish made belt with a steel core and comparing it to the Nick's boots belt and the Northstar leather belt
ive enjoyed my nicks boots belt for 5 years and just recently purchased the northstar leather and amish made belts.
north star leather does some nice custom order leather products and nicks makes great boots and belts.
ive seen the ads for amish made all over face book and Instagram and thought id see what they are all about.

So far, I think Nick's is the winner. It seems to have the most character but that could just be because it's been worn the most. I cant believe it's been 5 years already. It seems like it's held up pretty good. I remember when you got it and the screw fell out. Seems like it was just yesterday... I do like the holes on the Amish. I tried wearing a sturdy belt with a steel core like that for awhile but I just couldn't get used to it. It was the most painful belt I have ever worn. It felt like it was always digging into my hips. - I am glad you made this video. I might try the Nick's but I wish they made it a little wider. I have tried so many different belts but I still haven't found the right good "forever" belt that most guys seem to have.

I took a gamble on “Thirty Dollar Gun Belt” it’s 14oz veg tan leather for $35.00. Been wearing it for a couple months and I love it. I carry a full size M&P 9mm with no sag. I would recommend their belt to anyone. Nicks makes a great belt but I didn’t want to pay $90.

I'm thinking about investing in an Amish-made belt. I am an IBEW Union electrician ... I have a great appreciation for quality and craftsmanship. I love to be and look professional all the way down to a belt buckle.

The Amish made belts are bought from a wholesale company and sold as Amish made. There's a few comments on this video calling it out. I can't remember the wholesaler but you can get a better deal from them

You need to go to Amish country to get the best leather goods. I only buys Amish made belts from Amish country. They make them custom for you and some of the best leather and craftsmanship you can get for around $30

I should've watched some reviews beyond Reddit suggestions, bought the black "max thickness" steel core belt from Amish Made Belts, I already knew that Amish Made Belts is also Bull Hide Belts but prices were the same so whatever. After it shipped I checked where it was coming from and found they're also Your Tack which is seemingly where they're produced, of course it also has its own online store and the exact same belt is about $20 less.
