The two monks on pindapat are ajahn Niyanamoli and ajahn Thaniyo from Hillside Hermitage. Obviously old footage from the time when they used to stay in Asia. They do not endorse any of the current monastic schools, they don't come from any lineage of current monastic traditions, nor do they promote any of the known meditation techniques. They stand completely alone having only the early Suttas and the writings of late ven. Nanavira as their guidance. After staying in secluded locations in Sri Lanka the authorities wouldn't grant them extension of their visas so they had to move to Europe where they continue their Dhamma practice and are living in secluded areas in the wild. This footage seems to be from their time in Sri Lanka. P.s. the headline ,,amithaba" is completely misleading because it is a mahayana concept of the so called ,,loving buddha" which has absolutely nothing to do with the practices of the featured monks in this video footage. A chimera of two absolutely incompatible beliefs and understandings.
