Thanks for the explanation. I had a few doubts. 1. Regarding #19 in visa form- Many websites say we should write current address and not necessarily the one on passport. My current address is different than the address in Passport. Can I write the current address with address proof to support the same? 2. Hi Amit, I have had multiple Schengen Visas in the past. The last one was from Netherlands in May 2016. However, I don't remember if I had my finger print collected, and if so what is the date when it was taken. So two questions: 1. Is there a way to know by looking at the previous visa if finger print was indeed collected? As few people online were saying that finger print collection in India for Schengen was rolled out sometime in 2015, and if during the visa process the finger print was collected then there should be a remake in the stamped visa and it should start with VIS..is that correct? 2. What is the ramification of saying 'No' here, even though the finger print was indeed collected? Let me know what you think

Hi, I am an international student currently studying in the UK. I am planning to apply for a schengen visa for spain in 1 month. However, my UK bank account has insufficient funds. I wanted to ask if i can be sponsored by my parents, and if their INDIAN bank statements would be sufficient to fulfil the schengen visa requirements, even though i am applying from UK. If not, then what should i do if i want to travel in the next 2 months?

Hi Amit, My DOB in Passport & Aadhar are different, do you think it will create any issue while applying visa for Switzerland ? I. will be referring DOB of Passport in VISA application form
