Great tutorial, can I request you do more on the cinematics side showing how you did the full examples shown at the start of each tutorial. I understand it's a lot more work, but I always kind of get disappointed in what to do next to get the shots or even transitions. But fantastic stuff and best on here so far 👍🏻

Thank You for sharing. Im a newbie and wanting to learn how to create interesting environments. Question- what if we wanted to create assets from scratch. Lets say we had a director whom wanted specific items created like a castel or a themed village of to 4 different building types. How would you go about this from nothing to a textured asset. Created a prefab ready to import into game engine. Thanks!

Thanks for the tutorial, excellent material. Unfortunately, as soon as I started, I found it impossible to progress. I think the material has changed because now there is no Nanite material appearing in the example\Materials folder; only MI_Landscape_Arctic, MI_Landscape_Mountain, and MI_SimpleVolumetricCloud are there. Am I doing something wrong, or has the material really been modified? Could´nt find any Nanite references in the properties... Anyway, thanks again, the tut looks great!

you still do the second one but once you apply the texture stay in the ladscape section and scroll down there is an option checkbox to enable nanite

Hi, the material is not appearing in the example folder when i try to import matrial to project and when i drag drop the uasset files it says uasset unknown extension. Edit:- i found the solution. I was using an old version of unreal had to install the new one now the problem is solved.

any tips for me? idk if some setting is wrong, but i followed each step you did, and by 8 min in the video my land did not show nanite it just vanished. did it twice just to be sure i didnt mess up a step. when i turned off nanite my land came back, but when turned on and rebuilt it was showing no land. bot times.

ok so i redid it, and now it shows the land like it should, but there is no bumps its still flat. I dont get why its not working. I did the steps exactly the way you showed.. lol

first you check your landscape is nanite or not, then re check that you copy and pest the right command to the right place as shown in the video. every time you made change to the landscape like you sculpt, the displacement will gone then you have to rebuild the nanite data for the landscape. hope this will help bro thanks.
