The last story the parents can get bent. That was the OP’s birthday dinner and they say nothing about paying until after the fact. Hopefully OP is able to get away from them sooner rather than later if that’s how they’re going to behave.

Here's hoping he was let go. This is not an acceptable way to treat customers. I wonder how many others have been hassled by him and turned off from shopping there again; he seems to be the type to get an idea in his head and never let go even when proven wrong. Aggressively treating innocent customers like they're thieves is a sure-fire way to lose business. And in the era of social media and hyperbolic responses to injustice, a story like this gaining traction could potentially be a crippling blow to the store's reputation. This employee is not helping grow the business!

the last story - i'm in my 40s and if someone told me they were taking me out for my birthday dinner, i would assume they were paying. It's generally assumed that person doing the celebrating doesn't pay for anything. That's generally how it works. Especially if there is a history of that kind of interaction. If it's someone i've never gone to dinner with before, sure, i'd clarify, but family, who have always paid before and are paying for an older sibling? these people are toxic. we don't really have enough information, but it sounds like a scapegoat/golden child situation with the older brother.

Story #3: OP is choosing to wear blinders. He says it was a one time mistake for his wife but it wasn't in all actuality because she tried to hook up again. It was the 20 year old who ended it after the first hook-up, for him it was a one time mistake with her. Her trying to continue the affair and being upset when he ended it and even went so far as to move away from her means that OP's wife will cheat again in time. She just has to find the next candidate first.
@szepi79
@szepi79 Жыл бұрын
Also, a one time mistake if you go to a bar, get semi drunk, and have a hook up with a stranger. If you start texting with a coworker, PLAN on full day of hanky panky, GO THROUGH with said plan, and you want to do it again, that is something completely different.

Story #3: "Hopefully you can work things out." Man f*ck all that. She not only had an affair and treated you like you were chopped liver while it was going on, but she had the nerve to parade it around on social media behind your back and had her close circle of friends cheering her on the whole time. That is incredibly disrespectful and if the coworker never left and just hit it and quit it, they'd still be carrying on behind your back and she could've ended up pregnant with his child while trying to pass it off as yours. I know it hurts and you don't want to break up your family but she's not a good or faithful wife and you shouldn't put up with that type of deception and disrespect from someone that you love and is supposed to love and honor you. And like you said, she was neglecting your children and dumping all the parenting responsibilities on you while she was busy with her boytoy, so her being a good mother is questionable as well. Leave that trifling b*tch.

on the last story, when the OP said his broher was 23 and the parents paid for him, the first thing that popped in my mind was "was OP adopted?" Many parents with poor relationships with their adopted children will cut them off at the age of 18, regardless if they are still in high school or not. I had a friend in high school who at 10 minutes after the date And time if her birth, was kicked out of the house (and this was like 4AM). This was a case of the parents just being evil, but what happened to her always made me wonder if she was afopted, and sory like in the video brings that questions to me.

There are a lot of stupid wal-mart security people. When I was 12 one of my friends when I was not even with them stole something stupid like a candy bar and got kicked out and banned. I never stole anything from them. I also had no idea my friend had stolen anything before or been banned. Then one day I had to go to walmart for something and was with my gf at the time and this friend and went to visit my gf's mom who worked there. We were swarmed by security and they made me, a 12 year old that did not steal anything and was simply with someone that was previously banned and I had no idea about it, sign papers saying I was banned for life. I was so scared and confused because I was such a little kid I just signed it because they said they would call the cops otherwise and I would go to jail. Explaining the situation to my gf's mom, who again was right there when they came and took us and worked at that wal-mart was not an easy task. Of course for some reason they did not take my gf , so I just had to leave her there dumbfounded while they took myself and my friend that was previously banned away surrounded by like 10 security people. two 12 year olds. They kept saying they were going to call the cops if I did not sign, that I would go to jail, they had me empty my pockets and asked me where I got my wallet from, and my wallet had my library card with my name on it, my school Id with my name on it, actual cash which would mean I don't even need to steal anything, plus on top of all that, we literally were not even in the store for 5 minutes. My gf's mom was on her lunch break and we walked in the store, then went directly to the subway that is in the store to talk to her on her lunch break. I never even went into the actual store where they had items let alone a wallet to steal.

I used to work retail, at the store I worked at, you had to be 18 or older to work there. One day on my second month there, a guy and his maybe 16 or 17 year old son comes up to my manager who's next to me and asks how old you have to be to work here, she says 18 or older, he suddenly looks angry and shouts "BULL CRAP, THAT 14 YEAR OLD IS WORKING HERE SO WHY CANT MY SON??" she looks at me and I look over startled by the sudden anger and yelling, already feeling like crying (PTSD) and I say "Sir, I'm 18, almost 19" he argues with me that I'm not 18 as if I don't know how old I am, he then points to my hair and says "ONLY KIDS PUT THEIR HAIR IN BRAIDS!!" my managers intervened while I stood there dumbfounded at his stupidity, already crying a bit. "Sir, her hair style does not mean she is a kid, she is 18, and you are now banned, please put your items down and leave the store, you and your son are no longer welcome here." A few more angry rants later and he stormed out muttering about stupid kids and sexists workers

Happened to my mom as well. We live in Germany and she was sitting in a cofee shop belonging next to a mall. Sure, she was sitting there 2 hours, but it's because of my sister who was going to swim with her class in Phys ED and she has a condition. Here's the punchline. The mall's manager came to her and asked her weird questions because he thought she was shoplifting. She answered: How does a thief drive a mercedes and pays for a 120 Euro purchasing of food? He after seeing the receipt became apologetic but mom simply drove away.

As someone who works for a store (Walmart), I can definitely say it has its fair share of ignorant, incompotent morons who think they're right and you're wrong. I am however pleased to say that AP is very good at their job, and will actually stop and listen to what you have to say and not make any bald faced accusations. They have called the police so many times it's actually become a rare occurrence in our store to not see a police officer or two. The only downside to them is they're more interested in people stealing high end items (meaning very expensive items like electronics or jewelry), or massive quantities of items. You steal something worth about 5 bucks, they don't care. Now if you did it right in front of them, that's entirely different. But still, I know how bad Walmart employees can be.

*Story 1:* I don't know if that's typical of *all* security guards or not. I sure as hell hope not! *No* one deserves to be a security guard or any kind of law enforcement if they're not going to actually observe what's going around a store. Anyone who refuses to listen when someone insists that they weren't at the location doing what this stupid security guard says she was doing shouldn't be a security guard.

Lol how can she want to be a better wife, she wanted the affair to continue and was devasteted when her lover moved away. She was full willing to cheat and wanted to do it again afterwards most likely for advanture. She will do it again and again. The only solution is telling the kids and the wife and then get a divorce and getting full custody of the kids cause the mom clearly is not really interested in keeping her family. She doesn't love her husband neither her kids very much. Otherwise she would not have cheated and thrown her family that easy away. She does not deserve a second chance. She will cheat again in the future.

@@humanbeing3551 The fact that she wanted this affair to continue and murned it when it was over should be prove enough that she is not worth it. I mean I understand if the OP wants to do it for his kids to keep his family intact. But she will most likely cheat again to get the next adventure kick. Some people just can't stay faithful. And lots of women have it going in these days cause its so much easier to get a lover as a female without thinking about the consequences. They willingly ruin their partners life and in some cases even that of their children. Why should she get another chance? The trust is already broken and will never come back at least not as it was before.

@@chrisbo5288 So in this basketball game (I used to play basketball btw) I was brought in and preformed horribly so my coach benched me. 3rd quarter coach decided to bring me back in thinking I learned what I was doing wrong. I started running the right routes, getting a few points, rebounds, and assists. That's a second chance, that's belief I have reflected on my mistakes and was ready for another shot. If I didn't do as well as I would've after, my play time would decreased a lot. This can connect to the story here. OP's wife may be ready to actually commit, but if she messes up and cheats again, she should definitely be kicked to the curb.

@@humanbeing3551 Dude i understand your story but playing a sport and cheating and therefore ruining a whole lifes is not the same. If you and your team are loosing a game its not that serious. You can still learn from it and get better. If you cheat on your partner you ruin his or her trust sometimes forever. You destroy your kids trust in you. This can lead to extreme serious consequences even to suicide, alcohol and drug abuse for your partner or kids. It can have devestating consequences. Its life and not a sport or a computer game where you can restart a level if you fail and try again. If that woman would have been neglectedt by her partner for month and felt lonely and tried to talk about it and would have been ignored and had build trust to this younger man listening to her and her problems and then one night they got drunk and they were together for one night. That could be forgiven and would be kind of understandable. But she built it up for month flirting and texting, hiding it and then having sex for own selfish personal reasons to get a kick out of it cause its immoral and forbidden. And tried again afterwards so much for weeks and then was devasteded when her former lover moved away. She does not deserve a second chance. She was willing wo cheat a second and third time. She wantet to do it again therefore proving that she did not cared about the consequences. He should divorce her imideatly. If she had broke it off after one time telling her lover it was a grave mistake and it will never happen again there could be a chance if the husband is willing to do it. But she clearly indicated that she wanted more and a serious affair. SHe would do it again. She is not worth a second chance...

On the way back, stopped to gas up the rental when this group of people start screaming at me about how dare I show my face after what I did to their friend. One guy slugged me, so I threw him to the ground. More screaming about how dare I defend myself. Cops showed up, arresting the few they could catch. Story 3: it's over, it's always over when a person who is in relationship cheats. If you truly love someone you simply are unable to sleep with someone else. Get rid of her, life is short, every moment you are with someone who doesn't love you is less time to find someone who does. For middle aged man it's a lot easier to find new partner than it's for 38 year old woman. So, get a new partner. Successful and healthy middle aged men can easily date women in their 20s and 30s (women date older and successful men), so why would you ever stay with middle aged woman who doesn't love you.

I know I probably have a different opinion than most people which is sad but there’s no such thing as snooping when it comes to my husband and I unless it’s dealing with Christmas presents ;) He knows my pass code and I know his because I have nothing to hide and neither does he. We’ve been married since 1999 and we both think cheating is the most ridiculous waste of time. Why get married if you even have that ability in your heart? Do you know how easy it is to not cheat? Staying faithful is the easiest freaking thing in the whole world. My gosh people act like it accidentally happens. Don’t get married if you’re going to just go bang everything in sight So don’t feel guilty about snooping because when you get married you’re supposed to be united as one person and share everything. At least that’s how marriage started out. Guess it’s different now. But that breaks my heart. Again, I realize I may have a different opinion than most people but it is what it is

No such thing as snooping eeek I’m happy y’all have a good marriage but yes your a team however still your own person and should be allow some privacy I’ve never snooped my husbands phone we both have the passwords and location ( for work safety we do ) we don’t even share bank accounts and we have been happily married for almost 21 years. So I’d have to disagree true trust is such . I don’t have to dig to test it . I can’t stand the couples who are crazy jealous of everything their partner does or women who act like they own their husbands or are his mom Im not saying that’s you by no means saying some women take it way to far

Thats sad on the last story, my mom still pays for my meals on birthdays im 21 and my moms dad always pays for her birthdays and he enjoys doing it even if my mom doesn't wanna do it he still does cause its tradition if your gonna take your kid to celebrate their birthday obviously if you made the plans you pay for it, and since op is 18 just still in high school or graduated with a small job com on man have some sympathy, its not like op asks you to pay for him all the time, just on his birthday when hes struggling, its sad really destroying a relationship all because of one thing so simple

that marriage one, he needs to divorce her. if your willing to have a affair and just throw your marriage to the side like that. mother/wife in this case doesnt matter. if she did it once she'll do it again, for the kids its better to get separated and file for custody

Cheating wife story: the way I see it, is you have 2 options, 1) confront your wife about it, and tell her you 2 need to get couples counseling. Or 2) get divorced, I don't think you want the second option judging by the fact that you're coming to strangers on the internet for advice (bad idea btw)

As a security guard, I can say right now this guard was completely in the wrong. He had no right to do any of that. I’m pretty sure the post orders don’t allow him to harass shoppers who literally just came out of checking out and it’s literally on camera that she was paying for it just more like the security guard was profiling her. Unfortunately, there are some bad guards out there.

Once a cheater always a cheater. The dad should just be a dad to his kids and explain everything to them, right after you confront her and listen to her side and then say its over. If you take them back, like nothing has happened, it will eat you up and get you into a load of shit. Go and seek some info etc. It will hurt for a long while, but think of your children. Been through it. Best of luck.

Dude and light up everything you just revealed you didn't really cross any lines by looking at her phone especially when she gave you the code to begin with. And it wasn't a one-time thing because even if she only had sex with him one time she continued to pursue it for months, even after he turned her down repeatedly and the stuff only stopped since he left the state. And she's still lamenting the loss of him in her life. You need a dump that piece of garbage

I've been working at Walmart for two years now, and let me just say what the security guard did is definitely against Walmart's policies. Even as security guards, they have to follow our AP-09 policy which states Only asset protection or salaried managers are allowed to detain suspected shoplifters even third-party security are not allowed to do that. Even the customer hosts to check receipts are not authorized to detain a shoplifter. It has to be either a salaried manager or an asset protection associate. The proper protocol would have been for this security guard to radio for asset protection, who can look at the CCTV footage and review the situation. He wasn't even supposed to get involved in the first place!

Story # 1 I'm glad the town didn't hire the dumb found Security work at a police station. He would've embarrassed the whole department just like he already did at the store.

To the guy who got cheated on, Stop being a simp she will definitely do it again wait till the college kid comeback in the summer. You need to make her kick Rocks but if you dont want to do that tell her you know and hold that over her for the rest of your marriage, make her spend her life trying to make it up to you.

The first Security Guard if he so called watched that person shoplifting and didn't do anything about it he may been in on that person stealing from the store. It to me sounds like the way OP was telling the story why he wasn't listening he thought he found a scape goat in OP. Maybe it turned out to be someone the Security Guard knew and that could be why he was fired to along being bad at his job.or could have been on a power trip .

First story the security guard was unlawfully holding you against your will. The manager should have given you something for your troubles. I feel like OP got screwed there. As for the apology screw that I don't want an apology I want compensation. Story 3 you confront her. So what you snooped you're married and she screwed some 20 year old. What's worse? I'd say the cheating. You could always wait till her and her friends are over and confront them all considering they knew and thought it was a good idea. If her friends got husband's you should warn them that their wives think it's ok to cheat. Make them all look bad.
