Story one: From what I have read trampolines on average are good 3 to 8 years So depending on the age and the fact it hadn't been used for some time it could have easily broke one day when the kids were jumping since there were multiple children using it at once. it could have been to old to sell anyway. Not saying it couldn't be used but you should always supervise kids on trampolines is case something does happen just jump the wrong way and you got broken bones and dislocated joints

story 1, I would have put heavy stuff on the trampoline and sold it. as for what i'd do in this situation i'd sue the mother for slander but leave the kids out of it. Story 2, you go to the police station and report them for essentually R wording the boyfriend in non-consentual sex. if you are too drunk to remember what happen you can't count that as consent. I wouldn't count that as cheating but instead really really bad people taking advantage of him when he has no idea wha is going on. Now if OP's boyfriend refuses to press charges, then it's a lie to cover up for him cheating. I think it's really dumb that anyone could be accused of cheating in that situation based on their gender identity. I think OP's boyfriend and OP need to go to counseling, and the Boyfriend go see a therapist to help him understand that he didn't cheat and was instead abused and R worded, and come to terms with his trauma and the anxiety he has suffered over this. But first he absolutely needs to press charges. (it still bothers me that OP is calling it cheating the whole time, but if the roles were reversed she'd call it what it actually is R word.) (can't believe his stubborness of letting those scum get away, if their family are really friends i'm sure they'll all be pissed at Max for what him and his HW did. after all if max's little sister went through that crap with the OP's Boyfriend's family, i'm sure there would be blood. and this shouldn't be any different.)

@@kaisenpai8943 oh i completely agree, but making a report would give them a criminal record, so when they do something later on and they probably will. they'll now have a history that suggests that it's likely the truth. you know? trust me i watch enough audit the audit videos to know how bad cops are most of the time, but the report is more for the courts.

I completely one hundred percent agree! That's the one thing I hoped that would be included at the end. I can't believe the OP and the boyfriend just let it go. I mean sure, you can cut him off, but what Max did was unforgivable and you can't just undo it or forget either. And what of the family? What if the parents find out about this? What if the little sister/brother from the families find out? They cannot just keep this a secret. The OP and the boyfriend should at least confront Max and Homewrecker for what they did, maybe go as far as getting a restraining order on them. But idk man, it just feels like justice wasn't served. I'm happy for the OP and the boyfriend for staying together in spite of this, but those 2 pieces of shit just got away and they're probably proud of themselves for what they did. I just have so much contempt for them, and I hope that karma hits them hard!

@@kaisenpai8943 As fucked up as that may be, that could definitely be the case. But even so, I feel like they should confront the ex-friend about what he's done and tells him it was not OK. And if that doesn't work, then at least talk to the parents about this. They're going to wonder why the boyfriend and ex-friend don't talk anymore. They're going to ask questions, and it's only a matter of time until someone finds out what happened. Better coming from them than someone else.

With the second story, I think the boyfriend is completely innocent, I think this Max definitely planned this. Considering he was there watching and grinning, because he did not give consent as far as we know (although he might have done as he was so drunk), it sounds to me as if he was raped (and yes, that can happen even to men). And also, to the point, he immediately came out with it without trying to hide it. That shows he’s honest, he’s remorseful, and I think he is as much the victim as the girlfriend is. But as the girlfriend said Max’s plan, backfired terribly because it’s just made their relationship even stronger, because from the instant, it sounds like they were definitely soulmates.

God yes, this has been upsetting me too. She's making it all revolve around her. Obviously, anyone would be upset that their partner had been .. used in that manner, but to make it all about themselves and not even consider how alone they must have made their partner feel by leaving them alone until they actually realized what had happened??? And then to guilt trip the commenters by being all "im such a bad girlfriend haha!" If the roles were reversed, we all know OP would get more criticism than that.
