Sir why are using not solving using box method now ????

Cause It can create doubt in such a kind of questions where - Object > places and in this case pigeonhole principle will be applied. This means there must be a place where 2 objects of the same kind will be together. eg: if we have 5 objects {a e i o u } and 4 places left. and we have to pick all 5 objects and no 2 objects can be together in this case someone might think using the box method that oh! we have 4 places, 1st place(leftmost) can have 5 choices, 2nd place from the left can have 4 choices, 3rd place can have 3 choices and 2nd place will have 2 choice. So ans will be 5*4*3*2. But this is wrong. Maybe that's why sir is not using The box method so that students won't get confused.

Your first statement is correct☑️ , I think it can be a good msq question like, we don't know if nm+1 and asked to find ways then we have to tick both possibilities (0 and m+1Cn) 2. What exactly you are asking in 2nd statement, I didn't get it. The examples you have given are perfectly satisfying the no 1's together. Can you elaborate more?

In 2nd statement he is asking about other possible ways to arrange 0s and 1s. In solving the last gate problem we took arrangements like 10101010101 only But we can take arrangements like 100100001010 too, it's also correct for the given condition of no 1s together. Why are we not considering the 2nd arrangement in solution?

yes your answer is correct. 3! ways to permute consonants in single box. 6! / 2 ways to move the rest 6 vowel boxes with 2 Es repeated and for total 7 blanks. Good job!

5^4 means we are seeing from chair point of view..... That means each chair has 5 choices that is any one of 5 person will sit on that chair... So indirectly we are saying on every chair at least one person will sit (actually we don't have such constraint) Also note that if every chair has 5 choices then if we take first choice for every chair then it means first person sit on all 5 chairs which is meaning less....
