4:22 At North poles air subsides creating high pressure then how come air from poles rises and go towards sub tropical high ??? To subside with air coming from equatorial?
@KimNamjoon-ho9en
@KimNamjoon-ho9en 4 жыл бұрын
It doesn't rise as the air is dense, but it will blow towards the middle latitudes (as air moves from area of high pressure to low pressure) as polar easterlies (as a surface wind). Then when it will reach at 60 degrees latitude, it will become comparatively warmer and will converge with the winds coming from equator and then it will rise.

Please understand the difference between Velocity and Speed. Velocity includes Direction as it is vector, Coriolis Force does change velocity. You want to say that it doesn’t change Speed, which is correct.
