Man Hunter did pretty damn well in that fight against Amity and King. He had never used a staff before and he was fighting two on one and yet he almost won anyway. I never see people give him enough credit in that fight.

I think the reason people don’t give Hunter credit for this fight is because he’s been using an artificial staff before obtaining Flapjack so it’s not anything new.

Amity may be smart but when the enemy directly threatens your loved one, which you know isn’t an empty threat, you may not think what the best solution is. I don’t even think breaking the key was intentional, the threat made her angry so she unconsciously crushed it before relenting to Hunter’s demands

I don’t want to be weird, but I feel like nobody acknowledges just how incredible Hunter actually is. He literally obtained a brand new staff, and immediately almost won a 2v1 against Amity and King. Not to mention he actually has some formal combat training, parkour skills, and some serious athleticism. Even when the series doesn’t show it (because he isn’t the protagonist and his development in the show is far more about being better socially and finding value in himself), Hunter is probably amongst the two or three most dangerous members of the main cast even by the end. The Golden Guard is a menace.

For those who don't know, Amity Blight is voiced by Mae Whitman, who also voiced Katara in the original "Avatar: The Last Airbender" (which I say since there was a bombed live action movie, and that new live action tv series). I point this out because when the episode first aired, a people pointed out how some of Amity's actions in the episode were similar to water-bending.

I am sorry that someone was rude when telling you to stop eating during recording. But I'd really appreciate if you could cut your mic when you are chewing. I have Misophonia and chewing sound is really unpleasant to me. I do stop watching your videos or fast forward them because of that. If you don't want to, then that's how it is.
