i remember this cherry blossom sharjah cup. it was held immediately after 2003 worldcup debacle. wasim waqar saqlain saeed anwar etc all retired. and many star players got dropped and a new young team was formed. you can see from the team shhet that how many new and young players there are

I remember this particular match, had followed Radio Pakistan commentary on absence of electricity in my village. It was 3/4 April I guess. The last 3/4-nation competition at iconic Sharjah stadium. Pakistan had revamped their team after dismal World Cup campaign.
