That particular talented team trimmed out the word "by chance" from cricket owing to their consistent performance for almost a decade. I think my circle 11 ad is inspired from this tour only. " Mistake to Dada ne bhi kiya tha 2003 mein Australia tour mein jyada batsman khilake". 😂 We 90's kid really have fond memories of this jersey. Although India had won many memorable matches in that jersey but truly speaking India had lost many matches which India should have won. However one must give credit to Sourav Ganguly for the way he led this team. India lost many matches in that era but Ganguly kept on making a strong foundation which eventually helped India becoming the best team few years later.

Still remember this match. Bunked my school on that to watch the match. And guess what.. heart break and tears for me at the end. As soon as Lee puts that one into stands. I started crying So badly that I couldn't go to the school for next day too. Those were the great cricket memories of a 90's kid. And wow the players at that time of Australia's team are almost unbeatable in any situations. Miss those golden days of cricket. No ipl no T20 even watching test cricket for continuous 5days was so exciting. If any 90's kid could finds similar memories as me. Then give me a like 👍

Remember this match as one of my saddest childhood memories. I was 9. India scored 296 at SCG with Yuvi scoring 139 and Laxman scoring 106*. Rain caused the total to be lowered and then Australia chased 224 within 40 overs.

Indian Daily....Dainik Jagaran Headlines the next day "Yuvraj Maharaj ke Karnamo pe, Balaji ne Paani Fera"(balaji ruins the stage set by Yuvraj as he scored 139(122) and VVS 106 runs). Was a 9 year old kid back then, and the revenge i took from the Ozzy by playing an alternate senario in my mind and thrashing bowlers in gully cricket. Memories are still vivid of those raw feelings,Love and passion. 😊
