The prices are a bit steep, but I so enjoy these trips to the brick and mortar ammo stores. It's just fun shopping and seeing the inventory.

Lots of expensive ammo my brother. I still picked up the 250 Monarch pack 9MM. Woodlands Academy has all ammo out on the shelves

All my 9mm mags are indeed loaded. I still need some more 9mm though. The Academy in Waxahachie, TX no longer sells mags either.

AK is picking back up online, Hornady is making steel cased ammo now. AR in bulk has been drying up all over the place. I would say that now is the time to buy in bulk if you can find it.

There isn’t. Stores here have everything from 22LR, 9mm, 223 Remington and all that common stuff and even the more obscure fudd rounds like 243 Winchester and 30-06 as well as 257 weatherby all full shelves.

I think one thing that sucks is that ammo is never going down to 2019 pricing. I remember a box 357 magnum of 50 rounds, 158 grain, semi wad cutter was $19.99 to $21.99. It's now $35

What’s good man. I hate these prices are so inflated smh here in the part of Alabama I’m in they luckily have everything shelved. Id say our prices have been fairly steady, specially Monarch. That’s all I’ve been shooting the past month or 2. Now the self defense ammo for 9mm 5.56 and .223 are all scarce tho

Prices everywhere suck universally. Keep track of the sales/clearance they run regularly at Academy. Currently no purchase limits, when your Caliber of choice goes on sale, spend accordingly.

Have you ever decided to buy ammo in bulk quantities?? You'll save a good deal of money when buying it in 1000 rnd bulk quantities. You can get 9mm rnds at $.20 per round.

Yeah if you buy that garbage turkish ish its looking more like $.24-.26 a round with taxes and shipping 20 cent a round is new brass plated steel case 115 grain fmj without sales tax/shipping so yeah some website kill u on the shipping while others give you free shipping if you are buying cases and such

There is new turkish ammo that costs 14 cents a round but i would trust it like remanufactured ammo off of a random website Not sure how much they charge for shipping That $147 for a 1000rnd case of 9mil is alluring but they do have harder primers on average and doesnt burn as clean Also it blew up some people guns in different calibers maybe even 9mm so fuck it

When you go to Academy there should be alot of ammo at their prices. The last minute of your video was very wise information and needs to be adhered to. PS stay out of the academy when buying ammo/go internet and buy bulk. Ammo will not be going down in price every again.

I keep a few mags loaded but my bulk of mags I keep fresh not loaded so that they have less likely to malfunction spring does ware out and some springs are bad and ware out or start sticking doesn't take to long for a mags spring to not be ad sprung some take 10 years some take less time some if new and you load them without using them the spring acts weird sometimes and dosnt spring out all the way most of the time you won't have problems except for spring getting weaker which happens spring do get weaker .

They had a deal the other day.50 rounds box brand new brass for 10 bucks. I like their deals even on the reman brass. Every couple. Months I collect my brass.ill send them a box get that discount can beat it.

ammo shortage? nope The only thing that having shortage is my money lately lol. Do not buy anything Monarch that label "Made in Turkey" it ZSR or BSP repackage. Monarch with "Made in Serbia" or "made in Brazil" are good to buy. Serbia is PPU and Brazil is Magtech. The 7.62x39 Winchester white box you pick up (20 rounds for $19.99) is actually PPU repackaged by Winchester.

"Ammo Shortage" is a Crock of Crap! The public Loves Panic. Another Excuse to Gouge the Buyer, performed by a Foreign Owned Czek company, allowed by our Government. Anybody that is without materials on hand to Reload is in dire straights. I am Amazed at adds I receive for 9mm bulk, priced @ $0.24 each round. I cast and powder coat my own bullets for all pistol calibers, have softshell powder left over and purchased some cheap imported primers, in order to continue my rang practice trips. My partial solution is to "Practice with 22LR Rimfire". and that is still at $0.10 each on a deal. Panic Sucks-Remember that !
