my dad is the hardest working and most humble man i've ever met. 6-7 days a week in a metal fabrication shop, sometimes 12+ hour days at 70 years old. his dedication and ability to restore classic cars is unrivaled. the barn, which isn't "in the open" was built specifically to preserve his cars for a time when he could properly fix and enjoy them. my dad, Bob is the epitome of what a car enthusiast should be. i can't think of anyone more deserving of his collection, or capable of restoring them. they will not sit another 30 years so please don't be so quick to make assumptions. thanks for watching 👍🏼

@@derekmatcheski I'm sure his comment was just a snide joke but your reply and your fathers comment is exactly what this community likes to hear(the spark of inspiration). I hope Maggie gets a long life back on the road! I think the reason so many of us enjoy these types of videos is that we can imagine doing this ourselves on our own neglected projects. Seeing the transformation gives us motivation to do more. Brings back memories of my first car----A '51 MG-TD that I got in '67. It looked cool and was fun to drive, but like most BMC cars, was mechanically a POS as a daily driver. It appears you only have one original hub cap---on the spare. They were already hard to find in the '60s, along with badge bars and side-curtain frames.
