This tiny Ammoon Pockrock miniature guitar multi effects unit is loosely modelled on earlier Behringer and Line 6 ideas. It does surprisingly well with some pretty hot lead tones.

I just realized I left my washing machine on while filming this video. You can totally hear it in the background. It's funny the noises you just get used to. Sorry about that!

I have the Line 6 Pod which I LOVE! But, I want one of these really bad because of the price! But many people are too picky and give too technical of a review on a product that is AMAZING for the price! I say this because of some people and their expectations!? So from my research I am coming to the conclusion that THIS POD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Yeah! For the price it's a great little gizmo. I plug mine into Fender tube amp and it's great especially when I don't want to mess around with all my pedals. I actually like some of the weird combo effects but the drums are hard to dial in. The wahwah is pretty cool too. Thanks for sharing.

Nothing wrong with 20 watts . I have had loads from 10 to 20w . But they all vary in Sound .Some sound flat or very thin . Also it depends on what guitar you are playing , pickups new strings . I have been playing for 6 years .I am nearly 61 and probably suffering GAS. Enjoy the journey

I have one, and I love it! It can also plug into a synthesizer instead of an electric guitar, and it works better cause you don't need any tuning. A warning though, it won't sound good using synthesizer if you play chords!

What about using it with an Atari Punk Console, would that work? Because with an APC you’re basically just turning knobs, does that count as chords? I’m a novice to special guitar FXs. I just started playing around with building my own modular synth. Please let me know what you think. Thank you kindly

Its insane that is has drum beats too. Who wants to practice just to a metronome. I have the hd500x and it doesn't have any beats and neither does 95% of todays new multieffects pedals. Its crazy to me you pay hundreds and it doesnt even have cheesy drum beats. This pedal is worth that alone really if you think about how much simple drum machines are. If they made an multieffects with a looper and multiple foot switches to change on the fly i would buy it maybe even 2 in a heartbeat.

You might be somehow deaf : some preset crunch patches bang my ears ! Every patch is clear and easy to hear. Indeed, some need to turn volume up. So one down point of this pockrock is that patch volumes aren't equally made, when you use a blues phased patch, you have to turn up volume, and then when you switch to a hard-rock distorted or crunched one, you turn deaf.
@janseendiguiseppiThomasMC4 жыл бұрын

@@gearfacts So can we close the drive channel? Cause I want to get the drive from the amp.
@gearfacts3 жыл бұрын
@@furkandal4733 Yes, but the sound might not be optimal. Normally drive would come before the other effects, but with the Katana mini you can only put the drive after the other effects. Most people don't like it this way, but there's not other option with that particular amp. Some other amps will have an effects loop, this would allow the addition of effects after the amp's drive sound.
@furkandal47333 жыл бұрын
@@gearfacts Sad to hear that. Like you said that if I buy this thing, the sound of the amp and the pedal will interfere with each other.
