💥💥💥 Ammar ... The astonishment on Ur face is not lost on anybody. I've literally seen this performance over 200 times and I am still awe struck by his abilities. As for the part where he does "Arabic Melisma" (which is the singing of a single syllable of text while moving between several different notes in succession. Also K-hoomi overtone melisma he sometimes uses to produce two notes simultaneously.) Dimash is very accustomed to doing this and learned to sing this way as some of the Kazakh Folk songs use Melisma (take a look at his "Hello" performance where he does something similar.) Dimash is just an "Enigma" for all of us mere Humans. Now U know why he is sometimes referred to as an Alien! 👽 Even Ur eyebrows froze in astonishment! This is the first time I think they actually got so dumbfounded they were like Deer caught in headlights! LOL😝 ( I luv messin with U about Ur Brows! ) And then when he took off into the stratosphere reaching a high note so powerful IT LITERALLY POPPED THE MIC!😮 (Not even electrical equipment can handle all of Dimash!) Then continuing straight into a 22 second run just shows U just how much lung capacity and breath control this man has ... it's almost INHUMAN! (again ALIEN! 👽) then it just ENDS!? ... leaving us all out of breath because WE forgot to Breathe!!! Anyway, back here on earth ... so glad U finally got around to reviewing this. That run that you noted as Arabic, is actually from Kazakhstan as well...follow the "Silk Road" and you will find similar music variations....The Silk Road was the ancient traders route between East and West.........Have you watched Anna D. The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental Arab technique (or traditional qazaq singing, called Joqtaw), is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist: Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio. The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash
