It's funny you say that. Someone on another video, I think it was an Elden ring video, said that they felt that Mike, and Ellen watching Luke play was like the oldest brother and the little sister watching their sibling take his turn. Now I can't get that out of my head. Mike is the oldest and the responsible one, Luke is the youngest boy but he's a bit of a goofball, and Ellen is the little sister who just loves playing games and hanging out with her family. I Envision Andy and Jane as the cool high School students who hang out at the Mall arcade, break curfew, and call the other three nerds. But they secretly love family game night every week with their kookie neighbor Johnny.

Ah, this was such a weirdly cozy stream to watch. Amnesia was a huge thing for me and a handful of friends back in junior high/high school. We would watch this Finnish youtuber play a ton of custom stories (times before making youtube videso could potentially be a job) and gather at one of the friend's parents' place with a proper home theater so that we could play the game together on A HUGE screen and with a surround sound. Well, I say "we", but I never played it, because I was and still am a massive scaredy cat : D Still, I enjoyed our pile of snacks and provided moral support. It's weird how this game still feels more nostlagic than scary to me these days. Thanks for the stream, guys! Stream starts at the 5:10 mark for anyone wondering. Love how Ellen is literally afraid of getting afraid, like the preemptive jumps when it goes into a cutscene for instance 😂. And also doing the opposite of every hint the game game for dealing with enemies out of panic lmao, it says hide in the dark and don't look at them and she's lighting every torch while the hint is up about staying in darkness and also staring at the monster when it's saying that that drains sanity as well as possibly getting you caught. Love all your content and the vibes you guys have is awesome too, like Luke setting up with all his snacks or trying to make Ellen think she messed something up lol

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is only as scary as you think it is. Unless you're playing on hard mode, you don't really need to worry about dying. Also if you change one bit in the game's executable, the enemies won't aggro towards you

Haha also sad but funny story, about scaring a hamster, when I was a kid, my family moved to a new house, we met our next door neighbours family and their kids and one of them found out we had a hamster, they then ran up the stairs to see it but they startled the hamster and it passed away, so they got to see it, it just wasn't how we expected it to go haha Also congratulations, you did so well ♡ I can't wait to see what comes next ♡♡ the art for this year's hallowstream is just gorgeous 😍

Back in the glory days of my late teens I played this game on a computer with full surround sound while trying to quit smoking cigarettes with with horrible drug called Chantix. Chantix causes frequent vivid horrible nightmares and it was one of the worst mistakes of my life. This game is chilling and even more so when the audio is truly surround sound and it constantly hears like something is sneaking up behind you and it's only true half the time! Glorious memories.

@@sarahbrivio4159 quitting smoking is usually worth it but that Chantix isn't it's crazy sure it works taking away the cravings perfectly. But the nightmares that came every night were really most vivid and detailed dreams i have ever had normally I never have nightmares regardless of the game or movie. One dream I was in a friends house but each door always lead to a different part of the house or place they never lead to previously and the darkness evil force from the game was taking my family and hiding them away Crazy trip of a drug I don't recommend it. Lol
