I hope that "greatest" bit was sarcastic... that was honestly disappointing.
@Audreyxdding7 жыл бұрын
SilentWill29 dude the commentators made it so PogChamp. This game's about whacky moments and having an rng fest, and it feels awesome seeing it on the front stage as a neutral. If you want to play something with less rng, play magic or shadowverse or something. We're here as casuals having a good time.
@SilentWill297 жыл бұрын
Parsa Khani Lol I feel like it's quite rude to assume my attitude towards the game considering I didn't say anything remotely related to competitive scene or RNG. I simply said as a match, that was disappointing. My purpose in saying this was to confirm whether you were joking or not, or otherwise to incite your reasoning on why you thought it was a great moment. Instead, I get lectured on what I should be playing based on your false assumptions.
@Audreyxdding7 жыл бұрын
SilentWill29 why were you an amn fan?
@TheGreenLing7 жыл бұрын
I read your reply the same as Parsa, It seems really negative, and that your upset that Pavel Won. The guy won 4 games in a row, I think he deserves it.

Well, Amnesiac was really lucky first game, with 1/3 rag, really lucky second game, with terrible portal for Pavel and great for himself,. But everybody sees a book and loses their minds ;p
@JMD3M4107 жыл бұрын
1/3 rag = 33% chance. Getting polymorph from Babbling book 3% chance. It's less than 10 times as likely. I mean, I could care less who won but one scenario does require more luck.
@EarthwormJim137 жыл бұрын
Top-decking babbling book, getting polymorph, then top decking babbling book again, and getting Firelands. I am pretty sure that waaaaaaay below 3%.

i love how everyone act like the whole match was decided by pavels poly from book ignoring the fact that he was very unlucky in the first 4 Games. If you watch the statistics closely you will see that pavel is not more lucky then other players

Love how when Amnesiac was winning the first three he was "...getting the run of the cards," but when Pavel wins they talk about how great he is...

comeback GOD, this is the comeback of the century , seriously any other player would strumble and fall in a 0-3 situation but Pavel said no, he put his pants up and fight with HUGE balls and courage to overcome a 0-3 situation , insane comeback 4-3 gg wp he deserved to be a champion because he have what it takes to fight against the storm and fight till the end never give up

I honestly feel like Pavel was the shakiest player in this tournament. Turns like a naked flamewaker on turn 3 against an empty board... wtf? Pro HS is fun to watch cause the games are exciting, but it really is just a coin flip.

those "shaky plays" are why they are GM's, and youre not

What a load of bulshitting random. And you call this cybersport? Imagine this in cs, everyone shoots with random spray, everyone gets random ammo in mag after reload from 1 to 30.
@VirusVox7 жыл бұрын
I watched this live and I was heartbroken for Amnesiac. Disgusting that this game has to be THIS RNG reliant.
@mikeprince57447 жыл бұрын
VirusVox the only RNG that beat him was drawing. Can you tell me how to Eliminate the RNG element of card draw? He just never drew what he needed to win and to claim that RNG was the only thing that decided the match is a bold faced lie, in fact it is a bit of an insult given the comeback that occurred in this series.
@zottffss7 жыл бұрын
I just looked it up. The odds of getting that Polymorph at 1:13:25 was 1/29. Pavel had some INSANE luck there.

sottle: "the strongest deck in the game, malygos druid" huh, i guess not. seriously this deck lost so many times in this tournament it's a wonder anyone brought it. never performed well on ladder during karazhan and performed even worse at blizzcon, yet virtually everyone brought it. funny that thijs thought control warrior was the weakness of everyone's lineup and instead brought malygos druid, then ended up getting eliminated immediately. if malygos druid was really the strongest deck in the karazhan meta, it would still exist in the gadgetzan meta in some form. nobody plays c'thun warrior anymore but i don't even think it would be that bad right now
@TheBloodyHanded7 жыл бұрын
it's possible that it was something that everyone feared, so put a lot of effort into planning how to beat, so it was too good

Wow, those draws off of babbling book for Pavel... What a trash game, 100% RNG win.
@budabead7 жыл бұрын
Oh yes because Amnisiasc winning the first game on a TOPDECK Ragnaros with 33% chance of if hitting the face. That's not pure 100% RNG now is it?
@HolyAn7 жыл бұрын
kokooos deathmolish That is 100% pure rng. That is no such thing as 50% rng, 30% rng or 80%. Only such things like if the win is rng or not.
@budabead7 жыл бұрын
lol. u have missed the sarcasm there mate. read the above ridiculous statement. it'll make more sense then :)
@linhta3057 жыл бұрын
@Wesu Maru: agree. Pavel did so bad with his mage. Babbling book literally won him the game
@Phagocytosis7 жыл бұрын
I would argue you might consider the discover mechanic to be something less than 100% rng. That's what makes it such a brilliant find from Blizzard.

Amnesiac was clearly the better player. I have never seen a hearthstone player more lucky than Pavel. What was his combined probability of those things happening in games 6 and 7? Probably FAR less than 1%... which also means in way over 99% Amnesiac wins that series. Even with normal bad luck he wins that easily... I don't like Pavel personally - not just because of his heavily undeserved win, but also because of the way he deals with it. (Probably also because I just can't stand a guy as young as him who is speaking such a bad English - he just sounds like he'd never had an English lesson in school or like some 80 year old guy who didn't speak English for some 50 or 60 years... ;-))
