There's certain theory behind what humans find attractive (usually - health and symmetry). From that you have different facial proportions that give different impressions and different circumstances they look good in. Beyond that, there's not that much science. E.g. looksmaxers go for bone structure definition because it's what looks good on camera - but not necessarily IRL. Greek god statues and beautiful theatrical actor stars don't have defined jaws and they're fine.
