Me and my dad went to a KORN concert when I was 10 and we happened to see Jonathan Davis walking into the building. We stopped him and asked if we could get a picture. The security guard said “No pictures “ and Jonathan said “Yeah no problem, I love kids.” It changed my life to see how respectful some artist can be. He was bullied when he was a kid and respect is something that shines through the man. I have that very picture hung up in my room now.

Really surprised that he digs Dead Can Dance and Peter Gabriel's brilliant soundtrack to The Last Temptation of Christ.

DCD and JD are my two favourites. I was surprised too, but it answered lots of questions :D

Saw Korn on Tuesday in PDX and they were freaking amazing. You could tell we were there for them as much as they were there for us, and they were consummate professionals and wanted to be there and put on a great show and vice versa.

I thought it was their best record without Head. The dubstep effects augmented the leaner sound Korn had taken on as a one guitar band (even though they had a second guitarist live).

Not my favourite but I do think it gets undeserved hate

It would've worked better as an EP, as originally intended, because there's only a handful of decent songs. The songs written with Skrillex are clearly the album's strongest material.

it's a brilliant and unique record. definitely one of their best.

I almost want to say that Jonathan Davis and I have nearly the same taste in music. Christian Death has some excellent music, I love DCD, NIN's The Downward Spiral has been one of my favorite albums since I was 15 (I bought the deluxe edition digitally, it was the literally one of the first albums I bought), Peter Gabriel is great and Korn is my favorite nu-metal band. I don't blame him for buying his own music, I think artists should be able to appreciate their own music as much as the music of others, because if not what's the point of making that art? Respect to Jonathan for great taste in music.

It's good to see people who went through a lot get famous, not fuck up too hard, and actually end up not mended, but deservedly succesful. Good to see you grow old and kind, Jonathan!

I really love his voice, from the self titled to the latest, it almost sounds like he's a teenager in a grown man's body, no offense. He looks like 35+ and his voice sounds like a teen. I really love korn, the sound of the instruments and Jonathans voice is so emotional and terrifying in some tracks.
