When Munky is describing the first time he heard Van Halen and how he didn't really get it.... That's exactly how I felt when I first heard Korn's debut album back in the 90's.... I just didn't understand it, hadn't heard anything like it before, it just sounded so raw, dark and disjointed somehow but... funky at the same time. Little did I know how much I'd grow to love it!

grahamt19781 Like Munky I too was shocked how bizarre and great Van Halen was when I first heard their music. But I also felt that about first hearing Blind in 1995. I saw them live in a 500 capacity venue in Shreveport, La in '96. The whole audience was stunned and shocked with jaws locked open for the first few songs. Nobody had heard or seen anything like it before. I saw them again in Texas Stadium for '99 Summer Sanitarium Tour. Korn put the crowd into total mayhem way more than any of the other bands including Metallica.

Myth. You actually have to keep dreads really clean or they wont lock at all, & you'll be miserable. Head probably has the most maintained hair of them all. He actually gets his professionally maintained in a salon (check out his instagram). If you dont maintain them (free form), they look more like Munky & Jon's loose dreads.
