His partner was one of my instructors back in film school. She also has a very ASMR-like way of speaking that made you kinda sit up and really pay attention to her, at least it did for me. She’s an awesome person & filmmaker. When I found out her partner was Jeff, I was like “Holy sh****t!” lol

I love he gave the Elements LP love and captured both what's good and bad about that record in a few sentences. Fronted by Pat Metheny Group alumni Egan and Gottlieb. "Forward Motion" was mostly DOA commercially; it has that Metheny sheen but not the pop sensibility. It's usually found in dollar bins, often unopened. But, what's interesting are the odd electronic timbers and atmospherics.

I bought a Clock Tower edition of Blackboard Jungle by Lee Perry at a record show and it was a horrible pressing, basically a bootleg. Hopefully the pressing he bought is...not that, haha.

check out the records “tnt” by the band Tortoise as well as “suite for max brown” and “forfolks” by jeff parker… isotope 217 is cool if you like more experimental stuff
