A true legend mate even though my mum is scared to death by him lol....she borrowed my laptop and accidentally opened a video of AA...as soon as it started she ran away screaming and crying "the singer is scary as a demon" 😂 I laughed at her like hell

@@halestorm123 wished my mum or dad would understand my musical tastes but they basically don't talk to me since when I came clear to them and said them I prefer them to the classic/symphonic music they forced me into since when I was 3.....they warned all our family friends and relatives that I went mad and talk about strange viking things

@@satansfall0760 Bloodyhell that is awful how this perfect family that society says is how it is can judge any of us on the kind of music we listen to.. mind you let's be honest death metal isnt for everyone they probably dont understand and I doubt they will understand about Vikings.. any way I am mad and I'm proud to be mad... @@halestorm123 lol mate my dad is Italian and my mum Albanian so they probably think it's all in my head....btw I'm proud of my music tastes ❤️ the worst thing is they say AA is just noise, not music and that Johan can't be called a singer bc what he does has nothing to do with singing 🙄🤔

@forsaken1death You got it backwards there. Yes viking metal does derrive from black metal, which Amon Amarth is not. AA is a melodic death metal band with norse themed lyrics and thats it.

Viking metal is usually either a lyrical theme or a sub genre of black metal. Just like common names in taxonomy it’s best to just avoid it.

Name one song without Norse mythology influence...🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗 They are melodic viking death metal! (Don't care what yohan say about it. The theme is consistent and he has traditional old Norse Odin tattoo on his right bicep. Face it, it's really ok ..,..😁

The reason the crowd are not moving? Amon amarth played for THREE HOURS. Fuck, if i was in a pit like that for more then 50 mins i would be exhausted. Stop having a go at the crowd for not being world class athletes, esp when you wont last that long either. Im watching the dvd now. And they go hard at the beggining.

@lefsepowered13 жыл бұрын
@gannonthorpe Just listened to Hermods Ride into Hell. Agreed, this song kicks ass. I don't fully understand what is happening in the story telling though. Can you explain? I think the reason that I like Amon Amarth when you strip away the metal, death references and pagan influences, is that they celebrate the power of the individual. I know that that sounds cheesy, but to me it's true. How is it that Death Metal can motivate me to get up and face life? Weird.
