One of the most beautiful songs of Amon Amarth. The background pictures are taken from: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. (I don't own this song, all rights belong to Amon Amarth and Metal Blade Records)

You know when a traditionally "death metal" band makes a song that transcends what traditional "death metal" is and just makes something that feels so timeless and absolutely mesmerizingly beautiful? This is it. This is a beautiful death metal song.

No one will ever read this probably but if you do, i salute you. It's been some dark months for me, i lost pretty much everything, my girlfriend went to her city to work with her mother, my friend fucked me over so he can get my job and now i found out my "so" is basically banging another dude so she's not coming back and i cannot pay the rent or anything without her i only got 40 bucks left in my wallet and the sense of impending doom is paralyzing. 1 hour ago i was sitting on my chair with a utility knife in my hands, thinking about just...ending it all, save all the upcoming suffering and disgrace. Almost forgot about this song and the random playlist played it like a dim ray of light in the middle of a pitch black world...fuck it...i won't go down without fighting this. And if i fail...at least i fucking fought till my last breath to change my life. I come from northern and cossack blood, they did not stop the fight even if it was hopeless...neither will i

Same here, my best friend died about a year ago and this was our fav song. Sorry for your loss
@ragingsaviorkami98623 жыл бұрын
Sorry for both of your losses. I used to have many fake friends once upon a time. Now I surround myself with my family, who I'd die for, and I know they won't be there forever. I also have a few friends now who I know I can trust. Who aren't fake and won't speak ill to others behind my back. Those are people that I love and that I care for. And I know what loss feels like. I was 11 when my first grandfather died, and even though I was fortunate to have him that long, I still miss him very often. Now, as an adult, I wish I could talk to them just one more time, like a grown up. What comforts me is that even though I'm not a Christian in my heart, nor can I say I believe in Valhalla, I know they're somewhere, waiting for us! ❤ Now, first atheist who comes to this comment and decides to try and convince me that there is nothing after death, no gods, and life is pointless, don't waste your breath or your time. As I said, I'm not a firm believer in anything really, but one thing I hate is pure atheism mixed in with nihilism.

@@ragingsaviorkami9862 by far I hate atheist fanatics more than any religious fanatics. Yeah, religious fanatics have killed - so did the Chinese and Soviet communist governments. That's not a beliefs problem - that's a humankind problem. But your run of the mill bible-thumper is at least annoying because they genuinely want to help and think they're helping. Atheist 'fundies' (lol) just want to feel superior and spread nihilism

I didn’t realize how profound it is….goes well that scenery. The dark melancholy atmosphere, the clarity that it comes with….to the boys, young men and grown adults I say this….stay hungry..strive and do not settle, set goals and be accountable but full disclosure after know this brief life we hold is but a blink of an eye compared to eternity…don’t squander the precious gift of life to vanity…know that the sorrows and struggles we battle which often take place in the mind can lead to progress….
