@agoodnamehere3018 project winter has a similar mechanic where the goal of the opposition is not to kill the crew, but to prevent the completion of goals. This dynamic of the game not ending when all imps are dead is the big difference

No link to play this or how to or what game this actually is? I looked up among us 3d and didn't see anything come up. Similar games I found were unfortunate spaceman and first class trouble, but neither seemed to be this.

This game seems awful, no cooldown so bad guys can just massacre without repercussions. Crew can set off a grenade and just slaughter everyone with zero consequences

It isn't awful. You have to adapt to that sort of playstyle if you want to win. At worst, it has some balance issues, but it is still very fun. Pretty cheap, too.

It IS very RNG-based. If one team gets all the weapons (especially the knife), it's almost impossible for the other to win.

You can turn guns off I believe. Add time, reduce tasks, change the number of dissidents. There are multiple balancing options

Oh and if the killer swings too much within a certain time frame it uses their stamina up and they die. This means they don't just stab 3 people back to back, and if they take damage from someone may only take one down

The Vtuber model is a downgrade for the channel. The personalities of you and your friend group are enough to make good content you don’t need the vtuber thing detracting from it.
