@@grvsha I really do not think he went to united because of money. I think he likes that "gamble" and he really thinks he will succeed. He did the same in Sporting. Sporting had not won a championship title in 19 years. Worse than that, we had no money at the club. He had to play with almost a full team from Sporting's academy, and he won. 4 years later, the club's finances are doing so well, we won another title and are poised to win another. The team is playing the best football I've ever seen Sporting play. He said in an interview that he really wanted United and that he had already refused a club that offered him 3x the money that United is offering, he also said he can't even spend what he earns at Sporting, so that he really doesn't care about the money. In sum, he thinks he knows the formula to get United winning again, as he did in Sporting. He is taking that gamble because if he succeeds, he will get instantly known as one of the best in the world - I have no doubt that this is his objective.

We all knew what would happen to ETH, we all know same will happen to Amorim, he will struggle with the bunch of players we have, and will end up taking every single blame, sacked after couple of years, and the players will be unscathed. And the biggest issue is we don't know where the problem even starts from. Maybe Rashford because he is not good enough to be the face of this club, maybe bruno but he is the only player that does everything from attack to defence, maybe our midfield is too weak, but we have one of the best young talent in mainoo, good cdm in Ugarte, experience with Casemiro and Eriksen... we had one of the best keepers in the league and people direspected him because he was bad with his feet, now we have decent keeper who can make some saves and can pass as well, but we still disrespect him... Hojlund looks fantastic in holding up plays and creating chances even with limited opportunities. The only problem I see is we don't have enough fuel in our legs, like bruno has to run all the way from one box to another to defend, no wonder he looks tired and misses sitters all the time, rashford just does not defend, ugarte not given enough chances (maybe tactical).....i feel like we need deep playing midfielder like eriksen (that was maybe the reason we wanted de Jong)....defensively, dalot pushes high but has no cover, same with mazrroui but its unreal how good he's been on both ends.....de ligt has been fantastic, Martinez has always been good. Idk if those kinds of problems can be fixed just with managerial changes, Manager can fix the tactics, not attitude. I mean it has not worked for us in this entire decade, so maybe we need to focus on clearing out players and not the managers Maybe we as fans need to start acknowledge our weaknesses and stop blaming others. ETH achieved what lots of established manager could not do, and that's to win trophy with this mess of a team. Give him props for that. Because by the way things are moving atm, it will be our only trophy for a while.
