Blame the board for that. They're the ones responsible for signing off ridiculous wages for underperforming players. That's what makes moving players on so much more difficult. Nobody wants to pay those salaries, notwithstanding the transfer fees themselves. It's led to financial ruin for United.

Id flog Rashford all day. Since he did the school dinner stuff he dropped off as a player and started to focus on his 'personality'. He wasnt just pissing on Ten Hags shoes when he was taking the piss at Thompsons Garage in Belfast he was pissing on all Utd supporters shoes. He lives off his laurels at this club and that period where he was on fire for Ten Hag was from Boxing Day to the end of January, he was banging them in for a month and is still feasting off it in other peoples eyes. I dont just think the team have moved on I think the game has moved on, maybe he could cut it at another club but the attributes to fulfill the role required at the top is way beyond his abilities now in my opinion.

It's crazy that Ugarte covered the most ground as a CDM. He's a 6, not an 8. I know the Casemiro pivot partnership gives him more freedom to move about, but still, it's an impressive stat. I'm just made-up that he had such a good game yesterday. Anyone worth their salt knew there was a player there. You got to remember, this is his first PL job. The pace and physicality is like nothing he'll have experienced before. And in no other position - CDM - is that more true. I just think that ETHs reticense to play him likely made him question his own ability to cut it at this level. Last night should have and hopefully did allay any worries he might've had about himself on that front.

Honestly, how long do we need keep going on about Rashford? And why is it up to a manager or coach to get the best out of him?? He needs to get the best out of himself. He's 27 years old. He's not a kid anymore. And so what if he's from Manchester and has come through the academy. That doesn't give him a free pass into the team/squad. If he's not good enough, then like anybody else, he needs to go. The season before Ten Hag he was dreadful, and then during Ten Hags first season he was good. Last season he went back to being crap again like he does every other season, and although he's not done anything particularly wrong this season, he still doesn't do enough. Particularly for the amount of wages he is on. He looks completely disinterested. He constantly looks like he's got the hump. He doesn't take anybody on, and when he does, he either runs into the defenders or he runs the ball out of play. People go on out about his consistency, but he is consistent. CONSISTENTLY INCONSISTENT. Rashford's time is up.

The first thing Amorim needs to do is deciding which players are going to be put on the creative positions and which defenders are going to take most of the game time during the season. All of this regardless on the formation he'll use. Amorim should never sympathize with those who will not deliver whatever it may be expected from them. He should also do his best in trying to bring Alvaro Fernandez back to United.

As much as I want to see Rashford fly on the pitch, with the switch to a more possession based football, he has dropped too much and it's unlikely that he will flourish in his current role. I wouldn't say freeze him out and make him leave just yet, but if Amorim doesn't find a role for him where he works this season, it's time to do it. Not saying it's Amorim's priority by any means, but let's see what he wants to do.
