Ofc, Ratty would love Utd to dominate for brand reasons, but if you ask him to put in his cash, then that is another matter. I can see united in near future having heaps of academy graduate in their team and our highest wages will be 150k within the team. Can a class of 2025 come out same as a class of 92. That would be awesome. Like 6 position or more covered from academy products. Issues is we still need experience players play with younger players otherwise will be hard to play just youngsters or young players with little experience.

If we are all aware of the mess the club is in, Amorim cannot use the excuse that he wasn't fully aware of the situation. You can't come into a club with a rigid formation and expect the club to buy a team to suit your formation. A good manager will assess his players and create the best possible team and formation with what is immediately available. Any other new managers to the Premier League seem to make it work with a lot less experienced players. He should be grateful he got the job as Manchester United manager, and get on with the job.

Our recruitment and ability to sell players, give contracts on par with other clubs has been broken for 10 years. But i feel selling Garnacho for 50/60 mill then we will not improve by buying mediocrity again at over market value. Mount was worth 30 mil max. Hojlund was worth 25 mil max. The list goes on. It will take at least another 5 years minimum to improve significantly
