He does such an incredible job with this song. This song has so much meaning to me personally. When I was going through my divorce I listened to this song over and over... While I was waiting for you to pull me through... Love this song.. Love Amos Lee.

Kelly Devincent This is astonishing, because the song has precisely the same meaning for me. Very difficult divorce, times when I didn't think I'd make it. Very lonely times that I am still trying to endure. Peace to you.

Kelly Devincent wow......I just looked to see what others might have to say about this video, and you took the words right out of my mouth. It means the same to me, and for the same reason. It has a special place in my heart now, and for ever will. So thankful for the music that speaks to us when we need it.

I've had the privilege of seeing this amazing artist twice here in Ft. Lauderdale. In my 50+years I've seen a LOT of bands. Mr. Amos Lee is by far the best. Humble, genuine, and gloriously talented!

Drove with my wife to Austin to see him I a theater with about 1200 people. He took a break about 2 hours in, and said this isn't an encore, we'll be right back. He played for almost 3.5 hours and was just amazing. Most of the time, you could hear a pin drop. Norah Jones was that way too.

This comment spoke right to my heart! I was a junkie for many years, This coming April I will have 8 years in recovery. My best friend was a rescue chihuahua named Chica, She was my shadow, my bestfriend! Watched me in hell and watched me come out of it, I lost her due to CHF 2 years ago but Im so grateful she got to spend some time with me while sober! keep on keepin on, One day at a time

I don't know a better songwriter than Amos Lee. Many are greats to be sure. But there's something about searching for peace and finding God nowhere except inside an old violin. I can't think of a better place to hide.

omg. seriously. Your voice just takes me to another place, spiritually. It's the most soothing sound I have ever heard. But it isn't just your voice. It's your spirit, in itself. What you believe your music does to you. How you connect with it. You make people like me connect with it even more, just because you connect with it the way you do. You aren't all commercialized. You are raw, organic, and that makes you more powerful than anyone else that has 'made it big' in my opinion. February in Chattanooga can't get here soon enough.

What an incredible place, what an incredible singer!! 🎶🎶🎶 I was introduced to this awesome man and singer while staying in Hawaii. My boyfriend's nephew Kevin said, you gotta give this singing artist a listen, that was in the year of 2007! I've been listening ever since, and I'm more than a little impressed, I'm a full fledged Amos Lee fan!! Keep bringing us your amazing one of a kind music, cause I ain't heard anyone quite as good as you sir. Thank you for such beyond incredible music, just love, love, love you and your music 🎵🖤❤️💛🖤🖤💛💛❤️❤️

Saw Amos twice in Toronto ( I believe the only two times he played there). He opened the second show with this. I cried. He is beyond perfection.. I have been a fan since his first album, Amos Lee, and then saw his performance on Austen City Limits and was totally star struck and have happily bought every album since.

@@mimi2the4 for first your a girl so hitting that kind of notes might be easy for you. His voice is very detailed with many nuances and emotion. You may be able to sign it easily like you said, but i highty doubt you can put out so much emotions and accuracy. Maybe post a clip and we can see how easy it is?

His album recordings are so incredible. His falsetto is gold on recordings It's strange, sometimes he goes through periods of time where he won't use it at all. I'm always worried he's lost it for some reason. Then you hear a live recording and it's like the first time I heard him sing keep it loose. In the end, I'm just glad to feel confident Amos Lee isn't going to stop make music anytime soon. He seems like a lifer. Hopefully he plays until he's dead like Willis Nelson

Lately I, Ive been heading for a breakdown Every time I leave my house Well It feels just like a shake down Between the street sweepers and the pushers are the lawyers Who may as well be butchers Between the small timing hustlers who all seem to feed upon each other Oh, God, why you been Hanging out in that ol violin While Ive been waiting for you, To pull me through? Lately I, Every time I try to lie down Well my mind just gets away I cant even close my eyes now Between the big fish ambition, and the lovers Using words as ammunition Between wood planks Ive been pacing endless Impossible dream that Ive been chasing Oh God why you been Hanging out in that ol violin While Ive been waiting for you, To pull me through? Oh, God Oh, God Oh, God, why you been Hanging out in that ol violin While Ive been waiting for you, To pull me through? Oh, God Oh, God Oh, God
