When was the last year that new episodes of this show were made? I believe it was taken off the air in 1961 under pressure from the NAACP. Glad to find it on KZbin.

@@maldijaili6799 I believe the last syndication/rerun episodes were 1966, i was so sad when the naacp got this great show canceled, my parents and grandparents loved it so much. The naacp needs to check itself. Ruining it for the people it's suppose to be helping.

I remember seeing this show in the afternoons back in the late 50's early sixties perhaps. Like I Love Lucy, it was in syndication at the time.

Sapphire was firecracker hot, she did one episode where she sported a strapless evening gown, absolutely stunning. It was the episode where she was calling herself dating Andy for dinner to make Kingfish jealous.
