This is a great show, with great actors and well written scripts. It still stands the test of time. It is head and shoulders above anything on TV today.

My grandparents had twin beds too. I guess it's because they were not in the baby making business back then they were too old

The end credits has Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher the men who wrote and produced Leave It To Beaver and The Monsters . Also Bob Ross who wrote and produced the latter episodes of the Andy Griffith Show .

I loved this show. BUT for the life of me, I could never understand whose idea it was to put black face make up on Amos .

What a nice show. I wish that we could turn back time and erase all the wrongs. But since it did happen, wouldn't it be nice if it was forgiven and forgotten?

I thought she was really mean in this episode too. Way overboard and overreacting.

Why did married people sleep in separate beds back then? See why they never had any kids🤪

It was because of the society morals at that time. Sexual topics or any hint of them were forbidden on television. The censors were very strict.
