This is what you call real humor. They were so funny and laughable that you were laughing with tears in your eyes. Tears of joy and happiness.

I've seen every last episode of Amos & Andy...watched them all with my pops who was born in 1945. He was an adolescent at the time this was aired on television and saw extreme humor in it back then so he shared the experience with me. We are 48 and 78 now. Together from time to time we'll jump down the Amos & Andy rabbit hole...STILL laughing like we haven't seen them before.😂

The little girl sent the card to the Kingfish without signing it. But she would certainly be innocent enough that it wouldn't occur to her to sign it. She sent the card, and that was the little girl's whole world. So innocent and beautiful, and the most wonderful innocent fooling of the Kingfish and Sapphire who were equally innocent adults. Great, hilarious comedy!

Ernestine Wade playing Sapphire are scenes that I really treasure in this TV series. She is a tour-de-force when she goes ballistic on the Kingfish.

Johnny Lee was a comedic genius. ❤ I'm sad that these actors were basically punished for their roles on the show, instead of blaming the network. They all deserved so much more.

The old 1920s-1930s Radio version was a DISService Us with the 2 white males acting supposedly Black/Neegro/Colored. This version with actual Black People not bad and very funny. Not Racist nor denigrating. NAACP _(a white-owned/operated Bu$ine$$)_ killed off these Black Actors/Actresses Careers when they don't really give a Roaches ass about Black People anyway. Claiming Black People don't talk that way. My Father & his Family did being from old S. Carolina. A few Cast-Members of this show said in Interviews in the 1990s they were very angry/bitter at the NAACP. They could get Acting Jobs after. I've heard/believed so much about bad about this show for years before I watched it. Finding some of the original Radio Show of this, I listened & compared to TV Show, concluding w/??'s what on Earth was ALL THE FUSS was ABOUT for the TV show? I realized all Yik Yak about it was *_conflated_* with the original denigrating Radio Show. Observing further, I saw similarities of this TV show & The Honeymooner's. I watched those Re-Runs _(1970s-early 2000s)_ on WPIX in NYC. I talked to My Aunts who grew up with this TV show in the 1950s. They said the Honeymooner's was a direct ripoff to replace this TV show. I'll give You a little perspective of Me - I'm NOT a K00N, DemonCrat nor, Christian. I'm not fond of WHYPeePoo either. However, I can tell differences of the Good of this TV show & Bad of the Radio show.
