Amouage "Lyric Man" Fragrance Review

Excellent description and breakdown of Lyric ! To me, this is a masterpiece creation on a fresh Rose fragrance by Amouage!! It is a very well rounded, fresh Rose that could be worn by either gender. Truly a gem for those who love Roses as I do . . . Thanks so much for sharing your insight on this one . . .

Honour Man is nice. A fresh pepper with the typical almost lemon like frankincense. Fairly simple but well made.

I know these two are completely different scents and quality, but I have always loved JLo´s Glow which is a very soapy clean sexy rose based perfume and I always wanted to find something similar for men... I wonder if they compare in some elements, it kinda sounds like they do.

Hello Alex! Hmmmm I don't think they do at all. I have worn Glow lots and my best friend actually still wears it most days as her "work" scent. They are pretty polar opposite ya know. This is masculine, dark...incensey Arabian type rose. Glow is soapy, more based about white flowers and kinda clean but harsh (In a good way) :)

you should check out amouage memoir woman, that's a stunner for sure, I cant afford a bottle but I hear its similar to l'agent by agent provocateur, good vid as always :)

Thanks mate! I totally forgot to talk to you about L'agent when you said you had it. Isn't it fantastic? The drydown is kickass, leathery myrrh and incense. That stuff has some serious power too.

I much prefer the femme version. This just too fresh for me in the drydown. The opening isn't bad.

Lime always lasts AGES on me, and I'm actually not a fan of that...it likes to overpower everything else. For example, Burberry's Brit is ALL lime on me. Sigh!

Kate Does it? Gosh on me it doesn't. It's a bit of a weird one. This one is a great fragrance though. Burberry Brit is a lime fragrance? I didn't know that I thought it was some sort of vanilla for some reason.:)

It IS a vanilla! Haha. It's meant to be, anyway. Fragrantica lists the most noticeable notes as vanilla, then almond, then lime. I get all lime with just the tiniest hint of almond, and no vanilla! I'm not sure why, either. I think my skin just really likes lime. But when vanilla is in other scents, it stands out fairly well, though it's never been a dominating note for me in any of my scents, with the exception of Lancome's Hypnose.

Kate Oh gosh my skin amps vanilla a WHOLE lot. Especially in perfume oils. It's lucky I like vanilla hehe.
