Got my first Amouage and it is Memoir Man! The opening was a pretty rough surprise, but as the fragrance progressed on my skin the incense became so much smoother and relaxing almost sweeter.

Down side of mancera and montale. is mancera is becoming like montage. Way too many fragrances. Even oud, oud, and some more oud. If to buy montage or mancera. Buy only the top five expensive ones. Other wise. Move onto Niche houses PROPER.

Great list, Epic Man would be in my list! Imitation Man was too sweet for my taste almost like a candied sweet, not bad but just didn't work for me personally. Have you checked out Overture would like to know your thoughts on this one..

imitation man contains castoreum. should i run for the hills or is it undetectable.is it a safe blind buy? i was thinking of buying memoir man instead since there are no "bad notes in the fragrance". great videos as always.

I have Memoir Man and completely agree on your take of it. I heard it described as a "mysterious forrest" and I couldn't have said it better myself. This scent has the pine resin, incense, and wormwood smell that is intoxicating. The ONLY and I mean ONLY drawback to this scent is the versatility and seasonal usage of it. It's for fall/winter and maybe early spring in a colder climate. I would never consider wearing it in any occasion past 65°F. Just my 2¢

Opus IV and VI are the two of that line that I definitely love. Top 3 men's line would be 1. Jubilation XXV, 2. Reflection, and 3. Journey Man.

I wore Imitation Man yesterday for work. After 8 hrs was complimented by 2 of my female Colleagues. The beginning reminds me of Guerlain Santa Royal which I own & ❤️! Full bottle of Imitation Man coming Bro! ✊ your opinion! Hopefully the North beats Philly!

My favorites are Myths Man, Figment Man, and Opus IX. You gotta check those out if you haven't already. Myths is an awesome leather fragrance, Figment smells like a pine forest, and Opus IX is a masculine jasmine.

I really like Bracken Man. An interesting, and great performing, modern take on fougere/barbershop scent. You have to like cloves however. I've received some strong compliments while wearing it.

What I really love about Amouage fragrances is that every fragrance can be someone's no. 1 pick from this house. My top 5 would probably be 1. Journey, 2. Epic, 3. Gold 4. Interlude, 5. Jubs (which is not far from an inversion of your top 10), but there are still so many I haven't properly sniffed or I know I'll get back to - Imitation being one of them. Thanks for the vid, James! Thanks for a great video.I love these top ten lists. 1. Beach hut 2. Reflection 3. Lyric 4. Jubilation 5. Beloved 6.Dia 7. Bracken 8 Interlude. 9. Fate 10. Imitation. The dry down of Beach Hut man is so beautiful. I can still smell it on my skin the next day. I have many others in sample. They're just not with mentioning.

I want to purchase an Amouage fragrance. They have nice bottles and box presentation. I would also like to purchase a Xerjoff and Tiziani Terenzi fragrance for those same reasons. Great list!! Edit: If you had to recommend one Amouage fragrance to a newcomer, which would you recommend? I actually sampled Reflection Man and Jubilation XXV a little over a year ago, but wasn’t too impressed. Would recommend Imitation Man?

I really don't recommend blind buying Amouages lol, they're quite unique smelling and can be quite challenging to pull off by many. Get decants/samples first before purchasing any full bottles. Easiest to pull off/most mass appealing: Reflection Man and Lyric Man. Must try (for me): Jubilation and Interlude Man

Omg i has an experienced on this scent i was once in De Bijenkorf Amsterdam and that time i dont know about this fragrance house "amouage" and then i just picked 1bottle for a test & spray it on my neck and then a lady came to me and asked me how's the smell i said not so good so i tried the other one bottle & sprayed it on my left arm & i said these perfumes didn't worked on my skins so i left the shop & went out and then there we go a few minutes later a lot of people turned their head on me while i was walking & someone even asked me what perfume i wore and they said it smells great & they keep sniffing on my neck 😂😂😂 i thought not a good scent at first but the projection is quite amazing. A few hours later i suddenly went back to the Shop and bought 100ml for about less than 300euro i was shooked about the price but it works great so i had no doubt buying it :) the best experienced i ever had.

I'm really impressed by Reflection Man. Pink Pepper gives it this fascinating majestic effervescent quality. The Iris (Orris) and Pink Pepper are like mixing Dior Homme Eau and 7-up, but somehow composing that bright yet elegant and interesting scent out of quality white florals. I don't like floral fragances, but the floral just exudes quality and blends into an interesting, classy, non-floral scent.

Amouage is a fantastic House. You just need to find one you like. I recommend Checking out Gold man, Dia Man, Julbilation, Journey Man, and Memoir man and Imiatation man. Very powerful scents.

Very few fragrances can take me places....Interlude takes me to church alongside mobsters, asking for forgiveness for what we may have just done, nautica voyage and Bulgari aqua Amara, take me straight to the beach...especially aqua amara.... now, jubilation xxv, that one takes me to my own country, and makes me walk in a palace, where everyone stands up to my entrance...its not for everyone, but boy is it art.

lyric (rose), reflection = luxe jean paul and imitation ))) really? ok. i will list my top-5 from this brand: jubilation, memoir, beach hut (it's not citrusy by the way rather dry vetiver, woods and a kind of mix of mint and some herbals), dia, journey. Also worth to mention are Bracken, Silver and Sunshine.
