I first heard a polyphone as a kid in the '60s - it was at a crumbling old hotel on the Isle of Man and played old Music Hall tunes like 'I'll take you home again Kathleen' - very much in this style! The poor old hotel was like the polyphone, a ghost from the past, but the beautifully rich sound seemed to bring back those heyday Edwardian summer holidays promenading along by the sea just one more time... thanks for your alchemy work and for shareing your wonderful collection with us all (UK)

the surface of the disk is partly spoiled but the melody is good no signs of damage done to the music

Hurrah! What a wonderful and pleasant sense to hear the melodies of this music-box. In some tall case clocks these types of music-boxes marked the hours of the day in addition with striking the number of hours on chime bar or coiled wire chime. I like the tunes played by music-box and chiming clocks. Even if some quartz clocks electronically imitate the music-box and chiming clocks they can't beat these real music-boxes and chiming clocks.

extremely beautiful I get goosebumps everytime I listen, I am from wisconsin and there is a public museum I used to volunteer at there they have a one of a kind apostles clock that has a Regina music box in it check it out its absolutely gorgeous. it's called the apostles clock and it's in Oshkosh wisconsin

Thanks for this Music Box boy. Have had he pleasure listening to one of these in a wonderful wooden chest when I was a girl and was was so delighted. I thought that one day I would try to find one but had kids by then and other priorities so thanks a million for letting us that privilege again.. Have a Pianola with pedals we had fun with but the rubber 'pipes have deteriorated
