If you are looking for a premium Bed Step for your truck, look no further than the Amp Research Bed step. This Bed Step simplifies climbing into the bed of your truck. The Amp Research Truck Bed Step has a weight rating of 300lbs. You simply push down the step with your foot and you have instant assistance. This comes with a 3-year warranty. The install was not that difficult to install, but it was a little challenging fitting your hand in certain locations. The board is 6 inches wide which gives you a lot of room to step on. I am a short guy and having these boards come down further than my drop steps made it much easier for me to climb in the truck.
When installing this step make sure you torque the screws to the proper specs and don't over tighten. I used a 1/4in torque wrench from Harbor Freight and a T25 Torx Bit. You can definatley install these yourself. There is no drilling required for this install. If you are in and out of your truck bed all the time, I would highly recommend this Bed Step.

I am loving it. I am working on installing an impact bed rug right now and I am using the heck out of it getting in and out of the bed. Much easier process.
