As a positive criticism, I would have loved to know the actual audio chain in this demo (e.g. bass to pedal, pedal to ABC bass amp miked with XYZ microphone/bass to pedal to audio soundcard, etc.). Otherwise it is not as useful as it could be. Thanks.

Wish it had an XLR out. I’d buy it in a heartbeat. I do have the SCR DI but a smaller option would be great.

Hello, I congratulate you for your demonstration. I would like to ask you a question. As you know a passive bass guitar can become active, changing their electronics and installing the preamplifier powered by 9V battery. What I would like to know is, if in your opinion connecting a passive bass to this pedal could resemble an active bass, since precisely the AmpPeg preamplifies, it is powered by 9V battery and allows to equalize the bass signal. It also helps to show what the bass sounds like on neck pickup vs blend of both pickups , and the rear bridge pickup sound. Tats how you can show the true sound of the pedal. I don’t care what sounds are dialed in: if the bass is obviously on the neck pickup it’s going to miss a lot of styles and genres of music because am debating whether I want the ampeg , Aguilar pedals or just go with the Ampeg head . A proper review helps the buyer to make that desicion
