Here we'll discuss the basics of a BJT which is one of the commonly used device in an amplifier circuit. A small description about the difference between a diode, thyristor and transistor is also given.
The amplifier circuits using common base and common emitter configuration is also discussed.
Please Note:
In cut off region the transistor is fully off (open switch) and in saturation region the transistor is fully on (closed switch)

Sir, in saturation mode transistor act as closed switch. And cut off mode act as an open switch. ..I think in the video it's mistaken
