It's amazing how much technology advanced since 0079 with him calling the Geara Zulu dash computer junk when it literally has a 360 degree floating cockpit with multi- auto targeting and redeploying airbags to counter g-force. 0079 you had 3 monitors, a trash radar and if you got rocked in your mobile suit you felt it and could easily die from the suit falling or getting slammed into too hard.

If this was set in the OYW and he was sitting in a Gelgoog and the area was inundated with minovsky particles briefly putting his cameras on the fritz he would call it junk the same way. Hell you could even put him in a whole ass Gundam and he would still call it junk, because he isn't complaining about the Mobile Suit, he's complaining about the sensors getting hit by MP interference and getting scrambled, and until he saw the Londo Bell MS it was a random glitch as far as we was concerned.

@@aokishix8969 They got dragged in by Marida, and it was her fault for blowing a reactor inside the cylinder by being reckless with the funnels Londo Bell played smart, they sent ECOAS in to handle it without Mobile Suits, but the Sleeves decided to be shitters Let me remind you that the Nahel Argama, aka a Londo Bell warship, performed a military op against the Sleeves' main base in a specific way to stop civilian casualties and hit only military facilities

@@psychogunner7062 They could you know not attack inside the colony, Marida was not even in her suit at the moment, with the surprise element they could have waited for the Zeon ship to leave the colony and then attack them and take the Unicorn back. And they sent Mobile Suits inside the colony before Marida launched her MS so they were definitely planning to fight inside. Then the Nahel Argama opened another hole in the colony to make a way in for the other Mobile Suits, really Londo Bell was terrible in that opening battle and they even recognized it within the show Edit: Now that i remember it could have been the exact same pilot the one that fired beams insidd the colony (it was a ReZel) and a Feddie suit (not Londo Bell) was the one that killed the classmates of Banagher

@@psychogunner7062 Excluding the exploding ReZEL, literally every shot that killed civilians was fired by Londo Bell. They were the ones that started the battle inside the colony and they kept firing indiscriminately. Marida was actually *very* careful when fighting the enemy, she can straight up kill most MS in seconds thanks to her funnels and yet she kept going in melee to disable the machines safely. She only fired back at the ReZEL after being attacked by three of them at once, with two of them constantly firing at her without any consideration for the colony. She got frustrated and sent her funnels to finally silence the moron, only to accidentally cause the chain reaction. And even after that, one of the ReZEL managed to murder at least a dozen fucking kids with a single shot. Londo Bell was absolutely in the wrong here. To the point where I really want to the like Nahel Argama's crew, but then I remember how they screwed up things here. And I say that as a Feddie fan.

This is probably my favorite mobile suit right next to the Sazabi and the Zaku II. I don’t understand why they haven’t made a Master Grade model kit for the Geara Zulu yet. It would be insanely popular and would sure would beat the ReZel with its really janky waverider transformation.

I think its more like he expended most of his equipment on the wrong ReZel and lost the element of suprise, if he spent it on the commander type first he may have had better odds. Sadly, Geara Zulu wasn't as high preforming as Neo Zeon needed, but it was very flexible in its different variations

@@xpluscollectorscrew Eh, if he was up against Jegans, he might have fared better. The thing is, the Rezel is a mass production Zeta type. This is a model that's only given to the best of the Federation pilots. You're looking at a mass production grunt type to a specialized mass-production type meant for skilled pilots or aces. He was also facing literally all of the Londo Bell strike team. The reason why that pilot was panicking was that that pilot knew he was fucked the moment he got spotted.

@@ki-youngjang4067 I agree the Rezel is better in terms of performance, but it wasn't THAT special during the time, it wasn't a limited production suit but a mass production unit, as stated in the wiki it wasn't reserved for the best at all..even rookies had access to them, my guess to why other rookies didn't have them is that not all units adopted them. The new OS with the suit meant that it controlled very similar in both transformation modes which made it ideal for greener pilots. Against the standard Jegan the Zulu is superior in every way...better thrust, better generator, updated weaponry, more weaponry options, better sensors... But a superior machine only gets one pilot so far...piloting ability is the most important...a zaku sniper for example is a vastly outdated suit, but in it's role with the proper weapon and a smart pilot, it's a beast. I wasn't expecting him to do well at all against the Rezel as was evidenced by my initial comment..but it would've been cool if he managed to take out another rezel before dying.

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, which is a 7 episode OVA from 2010-2014. This is set in the Universal Century timeline for Gundam, and builds on the events of a LOT of previous animes/movies from the same timeline, so it's not the most accessible series out there for people who haven't watched a lot of Gundam in the past. All of the action sequences are very pretty, though. There is also an anime recut called Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 where they basically took the 7 original hour-long episodes, and added some filler and context to stretch it out to 22 standard half hour anime episodes. I've never watched the anime, but people who have watched both generally say that they prefer the original OVA since the filler in the anime makes it feel bloated and slow.

You can tell by his chest insignia and lack of extra armor that he is a low rank pilot. The Royal Guard were super cool and had spiked pauldrons with cool detail work. I loved the Sleeves’ designs so much.
