Thanks for the update Matt. I have not had the opportunity to try them all out yet - just the Audi Quattro at Brands Hatch, which was great but the two fast right handers at the 'back' of that track (I can never remember the corner names!) are tricky because of that understeer you mentioned - very easy to drift onto the grass. I did not think to try dropping a gear and accelerating when that happens - not sure I am brave enough :)

Hey @NonnyRat 👋 I'll have to try the Quatro at Brands to fully understand what the car is doing. However the advantage that the Quatro has over the others in the same class enables you to be 'slow in fast out' (relative) dur to the grip advantage it has. As for power slide 'recovery' do a few practice races and purposly go off (sideways) VIR is good for this - lift of the power slam it down a gear and hammer the throttle whilst counter steering - practice make perfect 👍 Do you have any car/track combos that you've "discovered" since V1.6 dropped? 🤔

I'll be honest, the GT3 is nice...but I think some of the biggest pluses of v1.6 are some of the improvements to some of the "lesser" cars that never got/get a look in. The Fuscas, the Vees, the Lancers...all so improved by v 1.6.

@@SimRacersArms I've only driven the 'Vette and the Group A Audi Quattro and the Quattro is a real standout for me. The all wheel drive makes it a lot of fun to drive. The only downside to it is it really makes the whole class completely unbalanced. Granted, that is kind of how it was in real life with the Quattro.

@@SimRacersArmsdepends.. there are multiple combinaations I really enjoy: - LMP2 at IMSA / WEC tracks - LMP3 (new Ligier) at Barcelona / Mosport - Roco 001 at Ibarra - GT3 / GT4 at the Nurburgring

Love Mosport with some unique challenges. Which is the trickiest section for you?🤔

@@SimRacersArms probably the double right at the bottom of the hill - not difficult to get round, but tricky to consistently get the line to carry speed around.

I'm just putting my 2 cents in , 1.6 is much better . The vette i drove once & never drove it again cause I thought it was horrible but because of your video I'm going to go back to it & try it & try the other cars that I disliked from just poor handling . Also another person left a comment how he experienced a better handling car that was terrible back in 1.5 but has tried it & liked the new update so I will definitely go back & visit the other cars . As for the go to car out of the 5 I hav to say the LMP . To me the speed , sound & handling r spot on & fun to drive 🚗

For me the best combination is the BMW M1 at Silverstone in 1975. Without ABS, without traction control and a lot of power. I love him.
