MY Polaris 2021 600 Assault Switchback, Amsoil recommends the interceptor and the dominator. But I use the 2-Stroke Injector Oil (AIO) Just 👌👌. No more changing spark plugs, burns clean, and no more smoke.😁😁👍 I highly recommend Amsoil products.

What about how well it coats the crank & bearings when it sits in air full of moisture for a couple days? Or how does it perform in cold weather, not a warm dyno garage? Or do we just not care about that?

Amsoil recommends Dominator in my Polaris 400. It’s not a high performance racing engine and is liquid cooled so I dunno why?? My understanding is dominator is for engines that will be torn down and inspected often because it doesn’t have the cleaning additives that interceptor has. I need a long term use oil

I'll stick with my skidoo oil formulated by ski Doo for my snowmobile. That light brown coating left behind by the Ski-Doo oil could prevent rust during storage on your internal engine parts.. Like in a vehicle use the oil the manufacturer recommends, you can't go wrong...

@@philllsxga.7737 Yeah. It doesn’t mean it’s the best stuff. I’ve ridden thousands of miles on sleds over 30 years and Polaris gold didn’t stop my engines from having failures. Not a one with interceptor…. Not saying it can’t happen but I’ve had much better luck with it. Especially compared to an oil “designed” by a manufacturer! I’d say stick with recommended oil if it means having a warranty claim denied but if that’s not an issue there’s way better stuff than factory oil out there! Ford recommends motocraft oil but go to a dealer and their “premium” oil option isn’t motocraft lol. It’s usually Mobil 1 lol. Even they don’t believe their factory stuff is the best!

A 2014 Polaris 800 engine would find a way to burn down no matter what oil you used in it. They were junk!

No offense but I agree, one riding season, even Walmart's oil should performed for that. I would like to see HIGH miles, and the entire engine break down before I would even consider putting Amsoil in my ski doo e-tecs.

Any boutique oil is gunna run. Pick the one that smells best. Or stick with the one that stinks the most and leaves no open door for warranty issues. Either way

I've never trusted interceptor. I've seen the exact opposite on engines when I used to run it. Xps is a good oil and it's what the etec was calibrated to run on. Having a engine sit on a dyno is nothing compared to real world abuse.

I can buy 3 gallons of mystik sea and snow oil for what it cost for a gallon of either of those oils, synthetics do not protect against long term storage where moisture from humidity and temperature changes, waste of money

@arborcidal maniac ok so I ran out of klotz and am going to get more oil I am debating on getting the super techniplate or benol I have a motorized bike 66cc air cooled engine and I run it back and fourth to school it’s a 1 mile stretch and I am just ringing it out , also the motor is piped, mildly ported and squish is set to 1 ish mm I mix 40:1
