Let me get this straight: personally I loathe Rotterdam. It's all new, fancy semi-futuristic architecture and filled with crime and vice. Amsterdam has more organized crime, I know, but Rotterdam (and particulary Rotterdam Zuid) are my least favorite places to be. But there are many people who love that type of city and the grandiose architecture. If that's your thing, then Rotterdam will continue to amaze you for a long time. All the good places can be visited within 2 days.
